We've been coming to the rushes for our annual, week long family vacation for a few years. We love door County but not necessarily the crowds, the rushes are perfect. Quiet, well maintained, lots of amenities, private lake (huge!), and 15 minutes from anything. The units are enormous and well appointed.

You won't be disappointed staying here! Spacious, private condos in the woods or on Kangaroo Lake. Great amenities including private garages for each unit, wood fireplaces and gas grills full kitchens and laundry in every unit. Great beach, pool, tennis, hiking trails in The Rushes private wilderness reserve! You'll find this resort central and convenient to everything in Door County.

We have been staying at The Rushes for the past 16 years, initially as renters and now as owners. My kids have literally grown up there. The Rushes is located on one of the inland lakes in Door County and they provide all the water amenities including catamaran sailboats, kayaks, stand up paddle boards, canoes, paddle boats and row boats....

My mom had wanted to come to Door County for a long time, but had not been able to exchange her time share, and when she finally found an open date, none of her usual friends could come along. I volunteered to take a long weekend to come up from Texas in April with her so she wouldn't have to...

We have been staying at The Rushes for over 20 years. Lovely, private, well-equipped units, surrounded by lake and woods. You can be as active or as quiet as you wish. The resort offers a wide variety of amenities and activities. The location is perfect. It is in the center of the Door Peninsula, so just a short drive to...

This is the place to stay if you need some time away. Surrounded by nature, and a large townhouse will help you to relax. Many amenities including swimming pool, boats, beach, tennis courts and more. Even in the winter, a calming fire to end the night helps you forget all about work.

My friend Jim, a long time owner at the Rushes, graciously invited me and another mutual friend for a visit this April. Unit 702 is a fully equipped, spacious 2 bedroom condo located directly on the golf course, with a view of Kangaroo Lake. There is a playground and tennis court right next door; the Clubhouse with a pool, hot...

We love the Rushes. Everything is clean and in tiptop shape when we arrive. Any maintenenance issues (rare) are handles quickly and courteously. No one calls to bug us about buying a unit (a major irritant and something we dread at other properties.) We know when we spend time there it will be relaxing and as quiet as we like....

This is the BEST trade we have ever made through RCI. COMFORTABLE ACCOMMODATIONS HIDDEN IN THE WOODS. When we went to a get-acquainted evening, we had a list of all the guests.
