Two weekend stays in top floor deluxe studio on non-mountain view side ("Village side") of Expedition Station, first during peak ski season and second in summer. Quick access to slopes (ski-in/ski-out and lockers in building) and lifts. Though we mostly hung out and enjoyed the weather and food during our summer visit (Chili Cookoff weekend), there is a large lake,...

I was there by myself and it was everything that I wanted. Room was very clean and not run down at all. Not fancy, but not low rate in any way. Groomers worked at night, but I never heard them and my room was on the side that they were on. Parking s across the road, but there is a...

I am a college student (not rich) and traveled as a double date with friends. $99 a night provided a clean and comfortable room that I would compare to a nice college dorm. Girlfriend and I slept like babies. Comfy bed, fully functional kitchenette, clean everything, and beyond amazing location! Let's be honest. You reserve this hotel if you are...

After a long frustrating night of driving and being stuck in traffic, we arrived at Snowshoe Mt. around 10:30 pm with our 2 kiddos (5 and 10 yo). I almost cried when I saw the room, the bed basically sits on the floor and the room is tiny, truly an efficiency room. We had booked the room a few months...

The location was great for skiing and access to the village restaurants, etc. We paid the extra (deluxe?) for a room that was updated and they delivered. Nice little kitchen unit with dishes, pots and pans, silverware, etc. Coffeemaker with coffee supplied - nice. Bed was comfy. Hot water in shower. Only thing lacking was no mirror in bedroom part...

As other reviewers have mentioned, the location is WONDERFUL!! We unfortunately did not have a view of the slopes but we could still see the mountains from our room on a clear day. The property is more of an effeciency condo than a 'hotel' as advertised. The room was decently clean, few spots here and there that were noticable, but...

Nice efficiency-type room for two. We were in room 328 which overlooks the slopes. Located near Ballhooter ski lift and within walking distance to shops and restaurants (Foxfire, Cheat Mtn Pizza, The Junction, Sunset Cantina). Ski locker provided is very convenient. Maid service was lackluster. Nearby parking in small lot (when available, we were fortunate).

Let me begin that this should be 3.5 out of 5. When I stipulate a variation, I give the property the benefit of the doubt and round up. We stayed in a "deluxe" two bedroom, two bath condo style suite. We stayed with another couple, so we had 4 people total in the condo. The condo had a kitchenette and...

We've stayed here many times over the years. The reason to stay here is that it is slope side in the village. Ski lockers on the ground floor make it possible to get in and out to the slopes easily. Snowmaking used to be noisy but the blower is right our our window and you can hardly hear it. This...

The village is the place to stay for nationals. This building was right next to the dual slalom course which made it easy to get out of the weather when necessary. The room was comfortable and had a small kitchenette which we used for breakfast and lunch. The only gotcha was the bedframe. The bottom stuck out a little -...
