I went down for three nights and we stayed in room 301 we had fun visiting family from both sides and we enjoyed the stay. We loved the Mason Jar down the street and across. The hotel had a great view and the flood wall murals was right around the corner. And no I did not go to the mothman...

We ended up at the Lowe because it's across the street from the Mothman museum, but we quickly found out that it was it's own attraction! The Lowe is a historic hotel in downtown Point Pleasant that is known both for being haunted, and for being the place John Keel stayed, author of the Mothman Prophecies. While I did not...

Not allowing homecoming pics because??? A busy weekend for you. That's like saying when there's a wedding reception no one else can stay at the hotel. I bet if a homecoming party rented a room they could take all the pics they wanted! You need to support the community and your business. Post a few signs telling guests that there...

Just walking into the Lobby area was nostalgic. Wide marble staircase, wooden railings, even the smell was nostalgic, in a good way. Imagine visiting your great grandparents house. Thats what it felt like. The owner was friendly & informative. The bar was awesome, old, dark wood. Fruit & cheese plate on the house was classy. I can't wait to go...

Not much to say other than the Lowe Inn is a great place to stay. If you want "modern", flat screen, cappuccino, fridge etc..NOT FOR YOU (to then later leave a bad review). Look up "HISTORIC" in the dictionary and then decide. I loved it; but I appreciate the historic value of not only the inn, but the area.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and large. We had a bedroom, complete with a queen sized bed and antique furniture. We also had a living room with couch, rocker, TV. If there weren't so many things going on outside, we would have been happy to stay in the hotel! What I love about staying at the Lowe is the friendliness...

So we were visiting Point Pleasant WV for the annual Mothman festival and decided to go "all in" and stay right downtown. Let me tell you as soon as you walk through the door you are transported back in time. The lobby is beautiful and is absolutely brimming with antiques, from the floors to the woodwork to the furniture. The...

No, I didn't experience anything paranormal, but I love this place. It's not modern. It has no actual amenities. What it does have is lots of charm, personality and location. This is no luxury resort, but my window unit kept the room cool and there was always plenty of hot water for my bath. The owners are really nice people....

On our last vacation we stayed off the interstates and out of chain hotels and restaurants. The Lowe was our last stop and we loved it. We checked in a bit road-weary and Rush was there to greet us and put us in a room with a king bed. The room was not fancy, but was clean and inviting. It...

Booked the Lowe based on reviews. What a great place. If you are looking for fancy luxury than this is not your place. It is OLD but very clean, well kept and charming. My daughter and I stayed here because of the area and the history but the room was pleasant surprise. We were warmly greeted and well treated. The...
