Wife and I made the trip in, from Pittsburgh, to spend a weekend with other motorcycle riding friends, in 2006.(Calendar won't let me go that far back) We all had an excellent time!! The B&B even fed those who WEREN'T staying there, which we thought showed lots of class for a small place in a small town! There were more...

We stayed a few nights doing the Hatfield and Mccoy tour this was a great little place to relax the bedrooms were clean and staff were so friendly. The breakfast they made was over the top! They had a nice TV room area to watch or see movies and a great place to visit. This is the place to stay...

Had an awesome stay at this Bed and Breakfast. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life give this place a go. The smell of bacon will awaken you to a wonderful breakfast if you stay in the main house. Come and go as you please as snacks are awaiting your return. Stayed in the...

I just returned from a two-night stay at the Matewan House. I had a great time, in large part to the two ladies, Kim and Ellen, who run the place. I knew I had come to a great place when I arrived late afternoon on Thanksgiving and was invited by Ellen to be a part of the large (40+ persons)...

Had a great one night stay while passing through southern West Virginia. Stayed at the Historic Matewan House Bed and Breakfast for one night on September 2, 2015 while doing a quick visit of the Hatfield McCoy Feud sites. The property and building are well kept, clean and first rate overall. The owners have done a wonderful job with the...

This was our second visit to the Matewan House. This time we stayed in one of the "cabins" which is really a separate building with several rooms out back. There was a motorcycle rally going on and the weather was terrible so it was a bit raucous but that's ok. Everything was clean, everyone was friendly and the breakfast buffet...

Just spent our 3rd New Yrs Eve at the Bed and Breakfast - We plan on spending next New Yrs there too. With all the new Hatfield and McCoy trail additions this is the place to stay!!!! Sharon, Diana and Gary are the best - breakfasts are very filling and it is very clean and quiet.

We were in Williamson, WV, obviously looking lost because a nice man stopped us to see if he could help, he said we looked lost. Lol. He recommended this "great B &B" in Matewan. We found the place on our phone and called to see if there were any vacancies. Sharon was very nice on the phone and when we...

I did not book this hotel. I was in the area for the Hatfield and McCoy GeoTrail and was asked by a friend if my husband and I wanted to share his room since he had an extra bed. We did not stay in the main house. We stayed in the rooms behind the house. The room is what it...
