My husband and I stayed at the Old Clark Inn as a part of our bike riding adventure in the Greenbrier River Trail. It was extremely nice to get to this lovely Inn after having biked a long distance. Andrea was very nice, welcoming and informative. We happened to be the only guests staying, which made it even nicer. The room...

INNKEEPER’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I've stayed at the Old Clark Inn six or eight times since discovering it in 2014. The number of times I've been back - and the fact that my friends and I refer to it simply as 'OCI' - should provide a clue... this is my very favorite place to stay, anywhere. It's the only place I've ever stayed that...

Thank you so much for taking time out to write this very kind review. It means the world to us that you feel so at home at the "OCI" (we call it that too!) and we truly look forward to your visits.

My husband and I just spent the weekend at Old Clark Inn, and we were so pleased with everything. It's very peaceful, quaint, and immaculate. The innkeeper was extremely pleasant and made sure everything was perfect for us.

My husband and I stayed at the Old Clark Inn last weekend in order to do a day bike ride on the Greenbrier Trail. The Inn was perfect for us: reasonable price, very clean, great access to the trail, full and excellent breakfast (fresh muffins, scones, bagels, yogurt, hot and cold cereal, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, hot chocolate!) The...

Needed someplace to stay the night before heading to Cass Scenic railroad. I'm not a big fan of B&Bs, but my husband thought it would be fine. Rates were great, room small but adequate. Sits on a street across from the Southern States which makes for an unattractive view when sitting on the front porch. Within walking distance to Dirtbean...

Andrea and Nelson were great hosts, knowledgeable about the surrounding natural areas and local hang outs. The room was small, but comfortable, and I had a great time meeting other guests on the front porch and enjoying the mountain air!

I have stayed here a number of times. I like it because of the personal touch of Andrea & Nelson. Andrea remembered my name after the second time I stayed there!! Marlinton is located within a day trip to many spectacular WV attractions. They advertise it as bicycle and motorcycle friendly, but non-two wheelers are also welcome. Highly recommended!!

Through our 12 years there have been so many wonderful folks passing through--we do our best to remember each one--but sometimes it takes 3 visits :) We are very fortunate to be located in such a beautiful part of West Virginia, and surrounded by so many activities and attractions. We also see many hikers, train enthusiasts, science lovers, Civil War...

This is a very nice hotel with some great amenities for bikers. The rooms are clean and comfortable and some have their own bathroom or a connecting bathroom. The other rooms share a common bathroom on the floor. The motorcycle parking area is big enough for three bikes and includes an air compressor and everything you need to wash your...

Well thank you very much for posting such a positive and informative review. Being motorcyclists ourselves, we do try to provide riders with the things we would look for in our own travels, while also being accommodating to all other types of travelers. The riders that come this way are obviously not your stereotypical, bar-cruisin’ types -- but instead are...

Staying at Old Clark Inn is like visiting your great aunt - a sensible, no-frills lady whose favourite colour is brown. Many of the beds are lovely antiques (mine was a walnut Eastlake style beauty); the rest of furniture is solid, in good shape but was not chosen for style. I had a private bath with a teeny tiny shower,...

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for sharing your experience with other travelers. We do appreciate the input, and your description is mostly accurate. We are glad that we met your needs and we were happy to be able to offer you the free private bath upgrade since you were in the area working as a volunteer....

We very much enjoyed having you!! And thanks for this review! Most people do discover that the hall baths are really not a big deal and the rates are beyond reasonable. We limit the number of people using them and clean them daily so that you have the best possible experience. People have even told us that they wish their...
