My business travel brought me to this secluded getaway. I wouldn't hesitate to come back. I was greeted by Ali who was outstanding. I didn't know what to expect but boy was I in for a treat. Ali prepared a great dinner and the night couldn't have been more relaxing. The rooms were very clean and I loved the fact...

My wife and I recently celebrated our honeymoon at the North Fork Mountain Inn. Our expectations were met and then some. You could tell that the innkeepers enjoy what they do and go above and beyond. We stayed in the Hideaway Cabin- there was plenty of space and very clean. We could not have asked for more.

This trip was for my our tenth wedding anniversary so we wanted something really nice since it is hard to get away with small children at home. We stayed in a beatiful rustic sweet right next the main lodge. It was a little pricey but it was so nice to have our own space including big tv, jacuzzi tub, and...

My husband and I just celebrated our anniversary at the Inn for the second year. The setting amid the mountain scenery is perfect. We were welcomed back as friends by Carol and Ed. We enjoyed sitting on the porch on the day we arrived, drinking wine and taking in the fall foliage. The weather was misty and rainy the next...

This place is a little hard to get to...you will need directions. GPS won't cut it. And the driveway is a bit steep, a little scary when it's wet, but boy this place is beautiful. You are surrounded by mountains and trees, and we went when the colors were changing. Ed & Carol were consummate hosts. They made a terrific...

I hosted a bachelorette Party at the North Fork Mtn Inn this month. It was wonderful. The bridesmaids came from all over the country and world. We shared a weekend of peace and relaxation together. Old friends who had not seen each other for years, new friends had time to get to know one another. It was perfect. I can't...

My husband and I spent five days at this unique, friendly and very relaxing inn the last week in September. To avoid repeating everything that the previous reviewer (SrP100111) wrote....we agree with everything they wrote. They didn't mention the fabulous bedding! Also, we were there to hike and the girls packed us fantastic lunches each day! Our ONLY suggestion to...

Ok, so cell phone service is not one of those comforts. You will lose that once you hit the mountain! The people who own and run this place are committed to your ultimate satisfaction. The staff will wait on you hand and foot, and they will engage you as much as you wish to be engaged. Ed only appeared once...

Just spent a weekend with family (all adults) at this inn and it was truly wonderful. The innkeepers, Ed and Carol, are gracious and welcoming. The inn is in a beautiful, secluded setting at the top of a mountain road with nice views of the wooded hillside and distant mountains. The inn feels like a cozy mountain lodge and has...

We stayed for 2 nights. Food was really good. Hosts were very gracious. The road to the inn can be a little scary but it is very much a mountain road!. But worth the adventure. Lots to do in the region. Great getaway for a long weekend.
