If you are looking for the perfect quiet escape, this is it. The historic Bluefield Inn is gorgeously furnished, superbly managed, and feels like what you wish was home. The landscaping is beautiful, and the outdoor areas are inviting. I stayed for two nights in the Abe Lincoln room. It was perfectly furnished and spacious, with high quality amenities. Breakfast...

Just returned from another visit to the Bluefield Inn and as always, we had a wonderful stay. Our room, the George Washington room, was very comfortable and spacious, and we were made to feel like VIP's during our entire visit. Kitt prepared a wonderful gourmet breakfast each morning and she now offers a great selection of wines for purchase -...

This is a beautifully decorated B&B with very clean, comfortable rooms. Owner Kit is a fabulous cook, and I very much enjoy starting my day with a delicious breakfast. Kit also has a nice selection of craft beer and wine available for those who enjoy an evening drink on the spacious wrap-around porch. I also enjoy playing a game of...

I thoroughly enjoyed the two nights I stayed in this beautiful old mansion. The décor and grounds are lovely. Enjoyed spending time on the front porch and the sunlit sitting room reading and talking with Kitt and other guests. Kitt is a gracious host, and even though running the place keeps her busy, took the time to chat and made...

Great place to chill, relax, and enjoy! But very few sites to see around the town or the county. It has a great breakfast room. The foyer has a grand piano. The gardens are charming. Bring you pool cue.

This was our first B&B experience. We were blown away by the decor, peacefulness, and most of all the lengths Preston went to ensure a good stay. The breakfast was first-rate with the incorporation of fresh blueberries, and homemade syrup. Parking was very convenient. Preston relayed many tidbits of lore about the inn. The inn is a very long drive...

A friend and I stayed overnight during a trip spent in hotel rooms. The Bluefield Inn was a much more relaxing and lovely place. Kitt, the owner greeted us with a warm and gracious welcome. Our room was beautiful and the breakfast was scrumptious. I would recommend staying here to everyone. Thanks Kitt for a wonderful stay!

I stayed here for one night during a recent trip. It is a beautiful old house, tastefully restored and decorated. There are 5 or 6 bedrooms, and plenty of "common area" for guests to spread out, including a comfortable sitting room, a room with a baby grand piano, and one with a pool table. The room was comfortable and extremely...

My husband and I rented out the hotel floor for our wedding reception. The ground floor is gorgeously decorated, and Kitt, the owner, accomodated our needs. We also stayed in a room for the night, and it had spa-quality soap, soft sateen sheets, and very luxurious decor. Waking up in the inn was so peaceful, as the area around the...

My wife and I have stayed in many many B&Bs across the country over the years, so here's the short & sweet. If you are a B&B fan and want to see how it should be done, visit the Bluefield Inn! It's hands down one of the top two we have ever stayed in, period. It sets the bar high,...
