My husband I stayed at the Ambrosia Inn last weekend - in the Rose room - and I really can't say enough about it. The experience was lovely. Sawsan is a gracious hostess and an amazing chef. We requested vegan breakfasts, and she cheerfully accommodated us with banana muffins, fresh fruit, scrambled tofu, home fries, and fried green tomatoes (which...

The location was perfect, and the house is very interesting. The breakfast was very good, Sawsan is a lovely person, and everything was neat and clean. We stayed in the Sage Blossom room and it was spacious and comfortable. The only downside was that we could hear the innkeeper walking around in her quarters that are located above the Sage...

Stayed here for one night with my girlfriend. We really enjoyed our experience. The owner is extremely friendly and accommodating. The breakfast in the morning was wonderful. The house has tons of character and a very very friendly cat. Would happily stay here again when our travels take us back to West Virginia. Also, the B&B is only 20 minutes...

We stayed two nights at the Ambrosia Inn. A pleasant place to stay with a friendly owner. The place was clean and comfortable. It was a beautiful house, well furnished in the common area, but a sparsely furnished room with little character. Had an excellent breakfast on the sun porch with the other guests. The private bath was off the...

The blossom room was spacious,4 poster bed, sunken bath & walkin shower , was all that you could ask for in a room. Sawsan was a gracious host & on our first stay recommended a fun little Italian restaurant, & on our return stay , I took a cooking class from her for chicken saltimbocca. It was delicious, along with...

For those of you who don't know, "Ambrosia" is most commonly known as the food or drink of the gods. I have to say. Sawsan is an AMAZING cook! We had the most delicious, melt in your mouth, muffins. Eggs, potatoes, and grilled vegetables may seem like a common breakfast, but Sawsan presented everything with the most beautiful array of...

Had the pleasure of spending a few days here recently. Very pleased to say it exceeded my expectations on many levels. First off, the home is beautiful sited and the grounds were showing early spring color and scent. It is wonderfully maintained, comfortable and graceful at once, with modern touches that don't distract from the period nature of the setting....

Food, accommodations and location were great. We couldn't think of anything that would have made our two night stay any nicer. Many great areas with large windows and great seating to sit and read or cheat.

Sawson was very friendly and the breakfast was devine. Her cat named B was also very friendly. Rooms are very clean and complete with several amenities. We visited the New River gorge and very much enjoyed the scenery.

We will travel through here once or twice a year and will always return to The Ambrosia Inn. The owner is very talented (a classically trained chef) and pleasant and we felt very much at home. The home is beautiful. Our room was attractive and the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious!
