We have stayed here a couple of times. Have yet to be disappointed. Don't expect to cook a fancy meal here because all you will find are the bare necessities. Two plates, bowls, cups, wine glasses, forks, etc,etc,... I did bring my own hot plate burner and pots to cook in so all was well there. This is right above...

The cabins have a rustic appearance from the outside but don't be fooled, the insides are bright, modern and spotlessly clean. Private deck with views over the Methow Valley - beautiful even in November. 1 mile into Winthrop - a little far in the rain but our welcoming host drive us into town, which was much appreciated! Great price for...

Coming off of five days in Seattle at a hotel that didn’t have A/C or many creature comforts, the Winthrop Mountain View Chalets were a welcome respite! The owner had made sure to create a mini-home inside every tiny cabin, and the little extras we found in Cabin 4 were much-appreciated. Each cabin has its own parking space right out...

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights in one of these cabins. The grounds were not well kept and the exterior of the cabin was nothing to brag about, but the interior, where it counts, was wonderful. It was clean and roomy enough with a fridge, microwave, a few dishes, and a coffee maker. Two highlights were a very...

my husband and I always stay here when we visit Winthrop. The cabins are perfect for a couple. Nice comfortable beds, flat-screen TV, etc. Although you can't really "cook", between the BBQ outside, the microwave and the toaster, we manage to eat most of our meals here. There seems to be ample storage for clothing, etc. We have family members...

This is the 2nd time we have stayed at the Mt. View Cabins. Due to a large forest fire nearby, things were a little different this time. The staff was so caring and accommodating during our stay, especially given the situation they were in locally with a large forest fire threating their homes and businesses. They were helpful and caring...

Our first trip to Winthrop in the winter and first in over 30 years. As other reviewers have pointed out, the Chalets live much bigger than they appear from the outside. The amenities were fine. Even though close to the highway, it was peaceful and restful. I can see where overlooking the KOA might distract from the view in summer,...
