This is a small resort, clean and quiet with small store. Coming from the north you will go under a train bridge which is 12'6" high . Don't expect easy access to the lake, they charge $7.50 per adult just to stand on the private dock across the street . The only public access to the lake is about 5...

Spent last weekend at Offut Lake and all-in-all it was good, but I feel like my group managed to make the best of some issues. The resort is small, which is neither good nor bad. But the sites themself (tent sites for us) were very small and very close together. The entire tent area is really a field with markers...

I booked Offut Lake because of the mostly good reviews I read online. While I usually prefer to share positive vacation experiences via reviews, I feel compelled to write about our stay at Offut Lake last weekend. We were there for 3 nights (Fri, Sat & Sun). We had just spent 4 very relaxing nights at Rasar State Park south...

We were looking for a spot to get away with our trailer that was fairly close to home. We found the Offut Lake Resort. Positive - It is a very small campground, clean, with a very well stocked general store with nice owners. Short walk to lake w nice views. Negatives - have to pay to access dock, access to...

I had a free night here from a coupon from my RV dealership so I thought I would stop for the night on my way home. I love this place. Quiet, secluded, on a lake (Offut), nice people. It was a Monday night so I had the place pretty much to myself, and, unfortunately the restaurant they have built on...

We stayed for two nights in the Little Red Cottage and had a wonderful time! The cottage was quaint and very spacious for the four of us. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking and we felt right at home. The staff was very friendly and helpful in sharing information about area activities. The lake is incredibly peaceful. We loved...

I and my wife made reservations there for a couple of days to get away and do some fishing. We rented the bass akwards cabin and when we first opened the door ,boy we were surprised. What a small place. It was only as big as my shed at home. And to charge 75 dollars a night for that cabin...

We have been coming here for years! We have stayed in the Baitholder, which is great for kids--it has a loft. We just started staying in the Angler. Wow! Air conditioning was a miracle in the 90 degree heat. However, who needs that when you can jump in the lake. We rented a paddle boat each day and pretended we...

We decided to take a drive and check this place out because my husband loves to fish and it is only a couple hours from home. What a nice surprise. We decided to spend the night in one of there small cabins, I do believe it was the one named Bass Akward and it was perfect. I felt like a...

“Bring more money to get a nicer room.”

“The Angler has a separate bedroom, sleeper couch, full kitchen, nice bathroom, air conditioning. We also liked the Baitholder when it is not too hot outside. It has a loft sleeping area for kids or adults who do not mind. There is a full bed on the main floor with a full bathroom. The kitchen is smaller, but we had a ball!”
