We were in Tacoma for several days for a conference. There's not much to do in Tacoma, but it's a nice place to spend your time. Our room had a view over the water and we even got a view of Mt. Ranier one day when it was clear. The new restaurant in the hotel had good food and there...

Some fun thigs to do in Tacoma include walking or biking at Ruston Way waterfront park (2-3 miles); rent scooters or bicycles; check out the local microbreweries; take a ferry to Vashon Island; explore the Maritime Museum; picnic at Thea Foss Landing; or explore Antique Row, to name a few! Thanks for staying with us!

First visit to Washington. Easy to find this hotel from SeaTac. The hotel is beautiful, clean and very charming. I would definitely stay here again if I ever go back to Tacoma. Great for business or pleasure.

Thank you for mentioning how easy it is to get to the Courtyard Tacoma from SeaTac Airport. It is a straight drive south on the freeway (I-5) with a short exit into Tacoma.

I stayed here 2 nights for business and found the hotel to be solid on all fronts and certainly one of the nicer Courtyards I have stayed in. The corner room seemed larger than average, with a nice view of Union Station. The staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel's location made it easy to walk to numerous restaurants....

The corner rooms and "extended queen" rooms are larger and usually cost only a little more - well worth it when you like to have company or just spread out.

It's a beautiful hotel in a great location. Great and friendly housekeeping staff. Comfortable beds and rooms. This hotel deserves a five star unfortunately, they won't get it. The staff at thier bistro and front desk( cause they are usually the same people) are horrible. I waited an hour for .my breakfast. And when I finally got it, it was...

I booked this quickly and didn't read much about this hotel. Was so pleased at our very large room overlooking the downtown. The entire hotel seems new, bedding excellent and overall decor very pleasant. We did not use the pool but it would have been nice. Parking across street very easy and close proximity to Glass Museum just great. Very...

I'm so glad you enjoyed the view and the extra large room! We have 20 rooms that are called "extended queens" that have 2 queen-size beds and a spacious living room area that includes the pull-out couch. The extended queens are great for families, as you mentioned, as well as small gatherings. Thank you for staying with us!

We stayed here for 2 nights while in Tacoma for a wedding at nearby 6th Street Event center. Google maps on my phone got me to the hotel from the airport easily and without confusion. Although the hotel was sold out, check in was quick and efficient, and even though I was using Marriot Rewards Certificates for the stay, the...

Anna and Anastasia in "The Bistro" clearly understand that they play an important role in how their guests' day begins and they clearly exceed expectations with their friendly smiles and gracious, pleasant personalities. Like Anna and Anastasia, everyone here demonstrates a desire to treat their customers like their own personal guests. I witnessed this everywhere: from the valet, to the...

This is actually one of the nicest Courtyard Marriotts I have been to, and I travel a lot on business and often stay in Courtyard Marriotts. Great location for downtown and access to public transport. Very close to the museums. Staff was nice and business center surprisingly had a color printer and a nice relaxing library. One minus is that...

There is a fun night life just a short cab ride away in the Proctor District - lots of restaurants and night clubs that stay open later than the downtown restaurants. Glad you enjoyed your visit!

Good experience from start to finish. Helpful staff at check in, good advice for where to walk around before dinner. The room was immaculate and quiet, the bed very comfortable. Breakfast was the menu you find at many Courtyards around the country, and it is consistent. Thumbs up. We'd stay here again.

I have stayed here a few times while taking my child to or from college or for a visit. It is clean, and comfortable, no extra frills. Within walking distance there are many attractions, the glass museum, the harbor, the courthouse, a museum, etc. Valet parking is an expense, there is a free garage down the street to park yourself....

Now that our remodeling is finished, there are more gathering spaces to sit and work, watch TV or socialize with friends -- all with free wi-fi and plug-ins. We enjoyed large groups gathering over the last few days to watch the World Cup in the home theater area.
