Drove down to Long Beach for the weekend, but decided to avoid the growing tourist crowds. so returned along Willapa Harbor to South Bend. Its a sleepy fishing village with not much happening, but great natural scenery. The motel was like staying in a clean...More
We stayed here for two night in Room 20. It's actually a one BR apartment that is nicely furnished and well appointed. The queen BR and LR both have corner windows to enjoy the Willapa river. The recent remodel makes this "the" place to stay...More
We've stayed here one night on our trip from Olympic National Park to San Francisco. Our room (2 bed rooms, one living room and kitchen) was very spacious, absolutely clean and it was everything there you need and can think of, which made our stay...More
The motel is close to the water and the view from the room is great. The kitchenette would be very useful if we were staying longer. A great find. Comfortable bed and chair. We would happily stay again.

The phone number is 360-875-5349 and they have a website, just search for Seaquest Motel in South Bend, WA. It is not a place to impress four friends, but it is very clean and has all the amenities for an extended stay. Kitchen along with diner ware and silver ware. The furniture is very nice and comfortable. The facility has been remodeled in the near past and is very nice. It's just not a new motel, but is the best anywhere around South Bend. The couple who run it are really nice people and and were very helpful. We tried a few others and they were terrible.
If you visit the area please include the courthouse in your schedule. It's just down the street from the Seaquest and it's a marvel to behold. Unbelievable architecture and style for a very small town. My only other suggestion is to not eat at the River View oyster restaurant. Unique, but no atmosphere and food is very blah.
