Cathy R. Port Angeles, WA 05 9/21/2022Updated review A couple of things. My husband and I have stayed a couple times with our rewards points, the rooms are beautiful & super clean. My sister & i stayed a night last March & the room was great as expected but when entering the bathroom noticed there was urine in the toilet. Let the front desk receptionist know, I was nice about it but thought the housekeeping dept would want to know. She agreed that was wrong & her supervisor would be following up on this the next morning. I never was contacted. Our next event was our 51st wedding anniversary in august which I had a code for a free room which was accepted a few days before our arrival date. The morning of our room date I got a call saying I didnt have the free room code on my account but we were all set to go tho hugely disappointing. So we ended up paying over 200+ then 50.00 extra for a balcony view which ended up literally a balcony on the same level as a bunch of rocks on the roof of the floor below us.So all we could see is a rooftop of rocks. Customer service isn't what it was.…
We were there for our anniversary and to ride the Olympic Discovery Trail (access to trail across the street). I can't say enough about this hotel. Our room was on the backside of the hotel with a mountain view. I wouldn't waste the money on the street side, too noisy. The rooms were very spacious. The bathroom was very large with a huge walk in shower and a teak bench inside. Also had a large shower head and hand held one as well. The hair dry was 1875 watts, very important for those of use with thick hair. Huge TV, comfy bed, built in coffee bar with refrigerator, robes, beautiful views from the large picture windows. This hotel was worth every cent paid.
Clean, new, and modern rooms. The bathroom was very spacious. I love how big the shower is. We had a king room on the 4th floor without a balcony for 1 night. It was facing the street, but we didn't notice any road noise at all. When you book, make sure to look at packages. We booked a package that included two free drink coupons, $50 free slot play, and a blanket to take home. The total cost of the package was less than the regular room rates. We burned through that free slot play, and then some...which I suppose is what they're hoping for, but we had fun! We also had breakfast at the 7 Brothers restaurant the next day. The servers were very friendly and the pancakes were delicious. I was impressed! We'll be back next time we're in the area!
Love the Hotel it is so quiet and clean . All staff friendly. Smoking area of casino well ventilated. I do not smoke and did not notice while in casino or on clothes after leaving. Great place. Next time going to get a balcony room which we did not know they had. Great native art work. Coffee shop with great coffee and a nice gift shop.
The staff were amazing. Professional, polite and genuinely cared about taking care of the guests. The hotel is newer…about a year and a half…we were told. We asked to stay on the backside of the hotel but no rooms were available. Don’t waste money getting a room with a balcony on the street side. The road noise is very loud and they allow smoking. There were 3 things that were disappointing…smoking allowed on the decks…our deck was covered with ashes from a smoker. People around us were smoking cigars. There was no mattress pad on the bed…that is gross. We travel with cotton sleeping bags so we were okay. The worst thing was a huge carpenter ant fell from the can light into my ear as I was just waking up! It was beyond startling…and again gross. We stayed 3 nights…checked out a day early because we had concluded our business. We would have checked out anyway after the ant event. No way I was going to sleep under that can light again. If you know anything about carpenter ants…we’re there is one there are many more. They to 50% off one of the three nights…it was appreciated but it also felt kind of crummy…100% off one night would have made a betterimpression…50% left me not wanting to return. We stayed in room 1528.…
Wonderful stay, the 7 Cedars Hotel is very new they've been open less than 2 years now, our room was very large, very clean, comfortable beds and very quiet. All the staff at the hotel were very friendly, and helpful. The hotel is full of lots of beautiful artwork from native artists local to the area too. Overall we had a wonderful experience and will be back again
Stayed two nights here at a conference. A very pleasant experience. Friendly staff, clean and well-maintained common areas, and great rooms. The rooms are larger than a typical hotel room, well-furnished, with lots of electrical outlets, USB ports and seating areas (a love seat and two comfortable chairs in my double queen room). Interesting features, such as an alarm clock that shows the time not only on the front but on both the left and right sides -- so you can have the clock on the table between the two beds and the people in both beds can see the time. A night light in the bathroom that goes on when there is movement in the room; otherwise is off. A wireless phone charger on the top of the alarm clock. Quiet and effective HVAC. I was really impressed
We stumbled across this hotel by accident and it was excellent! They spared no expense in the rooms which were huge. The beds and pillows were the most comfortable I have slept on in a hotel ever. I slept 9 hours straight without waking up. The technology in the rooms caught me be surprise at every turn. The lights came on automatically when we came in the room and everything including the bathroom mirror which had a lighted border and a spot you touch on the mirror to dim or brighten it. If you go, try the fry bread with honey butter and blueberry butter. We needed a snack before bed. And even though we came in 25 min before the restaurant closed, the staff was friendly and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again and wish they had other hotels around. In an area where decent hotels are hard to come by it is a gem!…
This awful place turned us away because they don't allow service animals. The confirmation email said no pets. This is not a pet our friend needs the dog to see he is blind. It costs $50 for a ferry and an hour drive to get there. We asked to talk to a manager and they said they would absolutely not bother her on her day off. (Which happens to be on the busiest day of the week). We could call her Monday. So basically if you have a disability they don't want to be bothered by you. I'm glad I didn't waste a dime on a place that discriminates against people with disabilities and I'd advise you don't either!
Always a positive experience while staying at 7 Cedars. The hotel and staff are exceptional! The holiday lights and decor add an extra touch to an already comfy stay. And delish soups on at the House of Seven Brothers. Excellent dining experience.
