My husband and I are retired and had stayed here once before. It's in a great location near "downtown" Sequim. Clean room, friendly staff. However, the toilet is extremely low to the floor (like it's made for a small child). Also we had three mini pillows to share for sleeping. The continental breakfast is a joke. You are required to put in your order for an individual box of cereal or individual packet of instant oatmeal to be delivered to your room the next morning. Make your own coffee with the coffee pods in the room. We opted to skip the "breakfast" and instead had a real (but expensive) breakfast at a local restaurant. I tried the coffee in the lobby and it was really good. My husband could not sleep because of very loud talking coming from the room above ours. Also the rooms do not have ice buckets. We will probably NOT stay here again.…
This was a great place very quiet, clean, tv, fridge, table, plenty of space, ac, coffee in room gourmet, plenty of towels soaps, tissue ect... , Air quality was clean the staff went above and beyond, from where I can park to breakfast, all they had to offer, just a hidden jewel for value minded stays
Honestly, I was not expecting much. We were staying here for a short 8 hours. The room was clean enough, though I did find some hairs on the bed :( The worst thing was having to walk through the horrible BO smell in the hallway. If we weren't wearing our masks, I probably would have gagged it was that bad.
Overall not a bad stay! We got 2 double bed rooms next to each other. One was cleaner than the other. I pushed one bed to the wall and found food under it... There’s a microwave and “big” fridge. There’s a couch and plenty of space for a family with kids. There’s a lot of channels to watch. A qfc, dollar tree and Taco Bell are next door/across the street. Downtown is a half mile walk away. Most things close at 4. One lady runs the front desk, so usually there wasn’t anyone there. She was always busy. There’s no elevator . There’s also a few putting green holes in the parking lot, which is random, but great. I would recommend this for a one night stay. Breakfast was free!
A great choice in a brand spanking new motor inn with great customer service. A rudimentary continual breakfast is provided including three flavors of yogurt, milk, hot or cold cereal and fresh fruit in the form of a mandarin orange. Price was highly competitive and rooms were spic and span including one or two queen beds that were closer to double sized or a genuine sized king bed. We had a king bed, not to hard or soft, which provided an excellent night’s sleep. A sofa, a table and two chairs as well as a 32 inch flat screen tv in a spacious room with plenty of channels to choose from on the tv. There is a nice medium sized refrigerator with plenty of space for wine, cold drinks and food and a microwave oven and telephone in the room. The only place house keeping missed was under the bed! The bathroom had a nice shower tub combo with a built in not slip bottom to the tub that was very effective and a grab bar for leaving the tub. There was plenty of hot water and water pressure and a counter with a sink outside the bathroom that had a swivel handle that had the hot and cold water positions reversed from normal (hot to the right, normally cold side, and cold to the left, normally hot side). Customer service was outstanding, with Jean, who was on the late afternoon/evening shift being an amazing resource about restaurants and the town at large and Candace, the day Manager being an equally gracious hostess who answered my inquiries flawlessly and granted a later than the normal 11 am checkout as it was a weekday stay. A great stay at a very fair price and highly recommended. 10 for customer service, 9 for facilities and 7 for the coronavirus continental breakfast and a very coronavirus conscious staff who were masked up but eager to please!…
This is a newly renovated property. The entire establishment is immaculate. The rooms, beds, TV's are all in excellent condition. The price is surprisingly affordable, and compare very well with other facilities in the Sequim area.
Had a wonderful stay at this Econo Lodge. All the staff made sure I had everything I needed for a great 3-night stay. Employees can really make an impact. Every employee I saw or talked to was genuinely happy to help. They have safe procedures in place for Covid so if you worry about traveling, you don’t have to worry here. Masks are required, of course. Jean checked me in from behind plexiglass and even wiped down my credit card with sanitizer before handing it back to me via a cloth-covered hand. She gave me a quick run down on local events and a city street map, plus a brochure on the parks. How nice is that? My room was immaculate and I was happy to learn that all rooms have flooring (the best option for allergy sufferers). Because of Covid, they closed the continental breakfast room but had guests fill out an order form with a delivery time for the staff to bring it to your room. There’s a nice coffee pod maker in the rooms, too. Anything you need, they will bring to you. Daily room service is suspended for Covid, but you can let them know if you want the room cleaned. The room was squeaky clean to start with so no extra cleaning needed. TV had HBO & MAX channels as a bonus. There was also a microwave and a fridge which could be handy. The AC and Heat worked great. This hotel is centrally located and walking distance from a QVC grocery store. I would stay here again - recommended!…
We recently stayed at this hotel. The staff were friendly and helpful. Although the hotel is a little older, the current owner is making updates. I was happy with the breakfast as we had some things to choose from. The hotel was also quiet and easy to get too. Not much traffic. It's affordable and worth it.
Econo Lodge is complying with COVID-19 requirements and I felt safe during my stay. The room looked very nice, though the bed was too hard for my preference. The location was good for my needs, but you’ll have to walk into the nearby neighborhood for Fido to do his/her business. WiFi worked great, water pressure was fantastic, I didn’t avail of their breakfast as I brought my own to avoid contact. There’s a 3-hole put-put golf course on-site! (Not sure what to do about equipment.) A good value for what I paid.
Stayed overnight planning to catch the ferry the next morning. I didn't pre-book and a room was available here so I stayed and was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, well maintained, and the bad nice and comfortable. I've not had great experiences with Econo Lodge in general but this one is excellent. Highly recommended. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable. That level of service didn't go unnoticed, thanks very much!
