Quaint, clean, "classic coastal" cottages for rent at this place. Each little house is unique; ask for your preferences when you call. They do book up; don't expect to drive up and just get a room on popular clamming weekends! There's a fun little bar across the street: the "Lamplighter" has a surprisingly good dinner and a fun late-night karaoke...

Our family thanks Fred and Ming Speer for the awesome experience of visiting Seaview/Long Beach for the first time. We had a blast biking, clamming, kite flying, hiking, cooking in our full kitchen cottage, and attending the various festivals honoring the end of summer and cranberries. The beach is so conveniently close (right out the front door and down the...

We stayed here for the weekend. Was a surprise trip for my birthday and our first time staying here. I have to say this will be where we stay from now on! Owners Fred and Ming are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. We have stayed at several motels in the area from the high...

What a perfect girls' weekend in Long Beach!! We stayed in the Crows' Nest - #11 The room was clean and bright, with a sunny patio overlooking the grounds. Fred and Ming were great hosts, making us feel right at home. Upon check in, we asked if there were any places that have karaoke, and Fred suggested the Lamplighter, right...

Really liked it here. Cozy room with parking right out front. Comfortable bed. Nicely set up Fridge and Microwave area. A bit older which only added to it's charm. Wifi which worked great! One block from beach to watch sunset! Staff was friendly and helpful; Office dog gave greeting and was sweet. Affordable. Good coffee. Will stay here again if...

My husband and I recently stayed at the motel in Unit 7. Although the owners were very helpful and accommodating, the room was disappointing. The carpet was old/dirty and the bed uncomfortable. We also noticed a unpleasant odor in the room upon arrival. The owners are extremely pet friendly, which we appreciated very much because we enjoy traveling with our...

Stayed in Cottage 31 for three nights while I explored the Long Beach Peninsula. I generally look for "local color" when I travel and this was a great find!! The cabin was immaculate, well-stocked small kitchen, tv and wifi. In addition, the owners are VERY friendly and accommodating. It was a very pleasant stay, and I would choose it again...

My best friend and I planned a girls weekend and thought we'd save some money and try out one of these tiny cottages with a full kitchen and as soon as we arrived I was wishing we could switch where we were staying but we had already booked two nights. The cottage looked good in the online photos but that's...

Like others, I found this on tripadvisor and took a chance. The place was pretty much exactly as described by others. It had a nice homey feel to it and the owners were very accommodating and gracious. We stayed in cabin 5 and it had everything we needed. It was close to all the things to see and a short...

“All of the cottages are a bit different so make sure to let them know what you need so they can put you in the right one.”

“Managers live on-site. Ask when you telephone about what you'd like...some rooms have kitchens, and more room for parking, for example. These are classic, seaside cottages...each is unique. You are next to the highway but it's not a main north-south route; traffic noise hasn't been an issue when we've stayed there.”
