Shuttle to and from the airport was nice. Going to the airport it only runs on the 1/2 hour so plan ahead. Also shuttle will take you to a local restaurant if you like! Super big breakfast with lots of choices. Nice room with all the amenities. Very helpful staff.
The room was very nice with a sofa, huge bed, chair, table, tons of storage space and an excellent bathroom. Overall, the room was fantastic. The mobile check-in is so easy and is a huge plus. The parking was free and there is a nice garage for parking your car. Located within walking distance of the airport. There are a few convenience stores and gas stations right by the hotel. The property was well-maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful (free toothbrush on request!). Check-out was a breeze. Left too early to give breakfast a try. Would stay at this hotel again next time in Seattle.
This hotel is ideally located close to the airport. It has a 24 hour shuttle. The hotel and our room was very clean. We left on the 3am shuttle so we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel but the night clerk had a bag breakfast for us. It was much appreciated. I want to commend Andrew your front desk clerk. He is so professional but friendly & helpful. We were waiting in the lobby for a available room (early afternoon prior to check in time) and a lady came in to check in. Her room was not available yet. She spoke so rudely & talked down to Andrew. He was so patient and he did not lower his self to her level. It was totally uncalled for the way she was acting. Andrew does a very good job of representing your establishment!
I like Hampton Inns - always good service and clean rooms. But walking in the Lobby of this Hampton Inn - 28th Ave in Seattle was amazing. Andrew was so welcoming. Sarah was working with another guest, but as soon as she finished, she joined Andrew in this greeting. Then I learned that Andrew is new to the hotel business ... BUT this is his place! And he is new to Hampton Inns - General Manager RUSS HICKEY did a smart job in hiring this young man!!! Also - my wife said our room was one of the nicest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in ...
My two year old, wife and l check in at 11pm and was really happy with the way and excellent service we had at check in by a lady called Judith. She had suggested a pizza place to order a late night meal and also assisted us with late check out. I do recommend this hotel to stay we are planning a overnight stay.
This was my second stay. I chose this hotel for its quiet, the spacious rooms with desks, and the clean, well-designed rooms. I was attending a conference nearby, and wanted a comfortable, efficient accommodation. Free parking was a plus.
We stayed here two separate nights (second night due to airplane delay) at start and end of a short road trip in April. We arrived late from Honolulu (nearly midnight) and were greeted by a very friendly lady called Melissa who checked us in and pointed us to the right direction for the car park. We were also given water and chips (crisps to you UK folk) complimentary (as a Hilton Honours member). The car park is free, secure and large. The rooms (we had one each) were large, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts were good (for a free breakfast) and filling. We walked from the airport on the second visit - 15/20 mins with suitcases. There is a free shuttle service to and from the airport and also to/from Angle Lake (for rail service to downtown Seattle). On the second day the hotel sorted our cases after check-out for several hours to allow us freedom before going for our flight. Great experience- would stay here again…
We had a nice suite for three nights. We checked in about 11 pm and were not impressed with the hospitality of the night crew at check-in. They did not offer the usual hospitality afforded to Hilton Honors members.
I stayed here for 1 night for business. Everything was good about the stay, especially the comfort of the room. It was surprisingly quiet despite being located near the airport. Complimentary breakfast was good too…hot foods (eggs, potatoes) and hot coffee. The reason for the lower rating was the service we received during check out. The lady at the desk had a look on her face like she didn’t want to be there and that was conveyed through her actions. Long story short, I made a reservation for 2 rooms for myself and my colleague. When my colleague checked in the previous night, the reservation should’ve been updated with his info. Upon checking out, my colleague’s receipt had my name on it, not his. It also showed the balance was not paid. We asked the lady to change it due to our company’s reimbursement policy, but she annoyingly said she can’t change it since I (the one who made the original reservation) had already checked out and they are unable to go back into the system to make any edits. I’ve stayed at numerous Hiltons throughout my business travel (take a gander at my other hotel reviews) and I have never experienced this issue before. Either the staff made a mistake by not updating my colleague’s reservation by adding his info at check-in, or this lady was too lazy to change it. She didn’t even make an effort to. Due to this inconvenience and the poor service, I won’t be staying here again.…
Hampton Inn & Suites is always my "go to" hotel. Excellent customer service while away from home and this hotel was terrific. All employees were friendly and helpful. That is the way it should be. Breakfast was filling and done right. Other brand name hotels should take a lesson from this one.
