I made a one-night reservation using IHG points and was told that if I canceled within 24 hours, I would have my IHG points redeposited within 5 days. After I canceled my reservation 18-hours in advance, I did receive my points back, but the hotel charged me CASH for a one night, even though I never stayed there. The hotel refused to waive the cash charge or to accept my points as payment.
I was all set to write a review on this hotel giving it 4-5 stars. The hotel was perfect for our needs. We walked from the airport upon arrival and ended up taking their airport shuttle back to the airport before flying home. This hotel was the perfect location. It was easy to get to the Link as well. The room was clean and I really had no complaints. However, today I checked my credit card statement, and I was charged for a night’s stay. The reservation for two nights was put on my boyfriend’s credit card. For some reason, the hotel charged his card for one night and my card for one night. I had previously booked one night using my credit card, but I canceled that when our plans changed. After I canceled the room, we ended up booking two nights using my boyfriend’s card. So I was quite shocked when I now have a charge of $163.44 that should not have been charged to me. This credit card mishap is the only reason for the 2 star review. I don’t understand how they charged my card when we secured the two nights with his card. So beware.…
We recently booked a last minute points stay at the Crowne Plaza after our travel plans changed and had us getting in later than we expected. I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel, facilities and amenities. We arrived late but check in was a breeze and Todd at the front desk recommended some great options from the on-site restaurant. Room service arrived quickly and the room was small but decently appointed. Would definitely stay here again when traveling into or out of the airport.
Stayed here for two nights, two adults and two teenagers. Very pleased with our stay and the comfort and cleanliness of the room and the entire hotel. It is an older building but the remodel (stayed on the executive floor/10th floor) was done well. Rooms are not huge and we felt a little cramped with four of us in a double Queen room, but we managed as a family just fine. Had dinner at the restaurant our first night and were pleased with the options. A little pricey, but the meal service was fantastic and quick. Had breakfast via room service and that meal was even better. Impressed with the security in the hotel and the necessity for key card access in the elevator. A bit of sound transfer from hallway and door shutting nearby. Water pressure in the walk in shower was good, but it took a couple minutes to get water to desired heat level…assuming that was due to being on the 10th floor. Parking is expensive at $24 a night, but during check-in, that price was dropped to $12 due to a delay with processing our third party reservation. We used the shuttle to the airport and had zero issues with that. Left at 5am. Lots of flight crews staying at this hotel and that is usually a positive sign for me. Beds were comfortable and the AC/fan worked without issues. Overall, very pleased with this stay.…
We love this hotel and have stayed many times before & after flights. Staff and service is always great. Osmond, the waiter in the restaurant is exceptional! Excellent service (even though it was quite busy) and wonderful personality! Osmond alone is worth 5 stars!
We mainly booked this place for its location (walking distance to SeaTac Airport and Link Light Rail). Our room was ready early so we were able to check-in to drop our luggage off in our room before exploring downtown, that was a nice perk! Our room was clean and comfortable. Front desk staff was helpful & friendly! Restaurant in the lobby was open late, our server Tina who was wonderful. Only complaint is the noise level- the walls were super thin, I could hear our next-door neighbor very clearly on the phone. Being so close to the airport meant a lot of noise too, but that was to be expected.
We stayed here the night after our Alaska cruise before flying home the next day. We arrived early, about 1 pm, and room was ready and waiting. We were upgraded to an executive room, #1020, thanks to my Spire status with IHG. I used points and got a good rate. The room was very clean. The bathroom was very functional, and the first thing I noticed was a bottle of mouthwash amongst the amenities. I haven't seen many "extras" since COVID. The room had a fridge and safe but no microwave. The bed was comfortable with decent pillows. There was a large shower but no tub. We had a distant view of Denny's and airport parking lots. There was a wardrobe, desk, and dresser. The TV was very good and large with many channels, including all local, many sports, some Canadian ones, and HGTV. We didn't do breakfast but did eat dinner in Reflections (there will be a separate review for that). The shuttle service the next morning was packed to capacity, but everyone was wearing a mask, and all seemed safe! We got off at the 1st stop because I'm always worried about someone taking our luggage before our stop! It meant a little longer walk, but it made me more comfortable. In conclusion, I was pleasantly surprised. The building was older and probably something else originally, but the decor was very good, everything was clean, and the staff, both hotel and restaurant, all top notch! If you don't want to use the shuttle, the hotel is easily walkable to the Light Rail station with access to the airport after a long walk through short term parking. It would even work for a local professional sports event or other visit to downtown with such easy access to Light Rail. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again, if needing accommodations near the SEATAC.…
We stayed here for one night pre-cruise. The hotel is very close to the airport and their free shuttle will pick you up if needed. The reception staff et us check in early. The room was clean and comfortable. We walked to the Denny's down the street for lunch but I can't say there are many other places to eat close by. The restaurant in the hotel, Reflections, was very good. We had dinner and breakfast there. Dinner was good but breakfast was great. I had purchased the breakfast as part of the hotel rate. My husband checked out the fitness center. We had a great stay. The hotel is very close to the light rail station but it is 30-40 minutes to get to the downtown Seattle area.
For what we needed, this place could not have been more perfect. We needed to stay close to the airport because we were arriving late from our flight. On a side note, this was absolutely the best decision as I would later come to find out, our next hotel was in one of the sketchiest, dirtiest places I’ve ever seen. It would have been very risky and we were traveling with a child. Our stay here started out great with the gentleman who assisted us. He was already friendly to begin with and he also acknowledged my status. We wished we knew how close the link was then we wouldn’t have waited for the shuttle. It was the driver who told us it was a 3 min walk. It was basically at the end of the block and just head upstairs. The opposite way is where you will find a Denny’s. Also very close. We picked up our breakfast there and ate it in our room before heading out. Was very happy to have that option for food.…
The hotel is a short walk from the airport terminal. Just follow the Link signs. Unfortunately, there’s no place for pedestrians to walk from the sidewalk to the lobby, making the hotel feel very unwelcoming upon arrival. It would have been so easy to make a pedestrian walkway over the many, many years since this hotel was built. Once I arrived at the front desk, Susan was very welcoming, friendly, and efficient. Be aware that the hotel is not designed well for COVID, with numerous unmasked customers passing within inches of other customers trying to evade them. The room could have been cleaner. The shower door kept rolling open and the toilet moved and squeaked, as it was just hanging from the wall. The bathroom is small, with no tub, and closed with a barn door. Windows were not clear and sloppily sealed with silicone. On the plus side, there is a refrigerator in the room, and a microwave in the lobby. Susan said that the fish in the restaurant is very good, but I didn’t feel comfortable dining in the restaurant with no separation at all from anti-maskers during a COVID spike.…
