Got there around 6pm, two people at front desk with no one in front of me - took 5 minutes to finish whatever they were doing to check me in. Room was old !!! Thin walls, dirty, with faint musky smell. Air conditioner/Heater must have been from the 70's (wish I had taken a picture of panel), that didn't work. Heard airplanes and neighbors loud and clear. Avoid, avoid, avoid. Only plus is convenient location and shuttle service was good.
I had a bad experience at a neighboring hotel, and decided to walk-in to the Red Lion Inn at Seattle Airport to seek accommodations. Trixie at the front desk was OUTSTANDING! She not only provided me a reduced rate room for two nights (and waived my parking fees), but took special care when I told her I would be celebrating an anniversary with my partner who would be arriving the following day. (It's a long story how we ended up celebrating an anniversary at an airport hotel.) My partner and I had a wonderful stay in a room that was clean and inviting and far exceeded the hotel I checked out of. Thank you Trixie! Staff like this will make me a lifetime Red Roof Inn customer (which I had never stayed at before).
The customer service is rude and the location is scary and the walls are paper-thin. The first night, the people stayed above us, stayed up all night. We could hear their conversation. They don't supply even the basic amenities. We had a room with two queen beds, but only one tiny shampoo was provided. The pillows and beds were rock hard. The layout of the hotel and elevators were not labeled well, it was very confusing. The gym equipment aka treadmill and elliptical didn't work. I could go on and on, but you get the point.
I always read the reviews before I go so I could make informed decisions. The front desk guy was ok, not rude at all but not quite accommodating. When he told me about the car parking fee would be taken out of my deposit, I was a little miffed because it wasn't in the website. His response was, yes it is, if you look way at the bottom of the page?! No apologies, just blamed it on me for not reading the whole thing. The room was decent, a little worn and outdated but comfortable. Bed was a little hard, but very comfy, shower had great pressure but drain stopped up some. All in all aside from the hidden fees, I would probably stay again in a pinch.
This hotel was the perfect place to stay. Staff was friendly, facilities were clean and had the basic amenities for a “near the airport” hotel. Close to airport parking and a few restaurants were within easy walking distance. The shuttle to the airport was convenient and left on time. The price was right. Highly recommend.
For the most part this hotel was good. Room and bed were very comfortable. Desk clerk was fair. I did have an issue after I arrived and had to be given a different room but the management took steps to fix the problem a week after my stay. Thank you so much
Free parking right by entrance . No pet fee . The manager drove to a restaurant and picked up take out for me ! This is not regular thing , but restaurant next door he recommended was closed due to heat wave . To make up for this he picked up food for me ! He was really helpful before even arrived when I called with many questions. They clean the rug after you stay with pet , so rug worn out but clean ! I stayed at Hilton that allows pets , rug stained , place shabby , and it’s 37 $ a night for parking and 75 $ pet fee ! Parking was a bit of hassle . So red roof much cheaper and better . No fancy lobby , restaurant ( though plenty nearby if no heatwave ) or pool , but really nice people and great value .
We checked in on a busy night after waiting on the shuttle pick up and arriving at RedRoof Inn to a line of folks out the door also waiting to check in. Ruth the desk clerk was the only desk agent checking everyone in and also tasked with answering calls. She was awesome! She was kind, patient, polite, and very efficient! Another agent arrived to help Ruth with guests, and she was also very nice. The agent at desk in the morning who checked us out was equally as nice, helpful and efficient. Hotel desk staff were outstanding. Our king room with balcony was very clean, shower pressure great with lots of hot water and bed was very comfortable. No need to look around for a better accommodation. When we’re in the area, this will be our go to accommodations. Thank you Red Roof Inn SeaTac!…
The Ramada Inn on International Blvd in Sea-Tac is so bad the placed should be demolished. So bad that, I walked down the street to Red Roof Inn reserving a room for two days and forfeiting my Money at the Ramada. Tamia, one of the clerks at the Red Roof Inn was so helpful. I am an older person not so tech savvy. Being in Sea Tac on business and under a time constraint she help me navigate Uber services as well as other electronic needs all with a smile and a willingness seldom seen in the service industry any more. I would highly recommend this inn to stay at as well as interfacing with their wonderful employee, Tamia.
Clean large rooms. Basic view but not an issue. Friendly staff Close to airport and gas stations Will definitely stay again if flying in and out of Seatac! Have luckily never had a bad stay at a Red Roof.
