We entered into our room to find open condom package, black finger streaks on the walls, some kind of sticky slime on the door locks, a cigarette burn in the blanket, and an overwhelming smell of mildew. We were forced to cancel and get a room somewhere else.
Not a great spot to stay but .convenient. Shuttle very undependable.. Probably not worth the cost savings and the Dennys next door is closed for now. Stay somewhere else and do your self a favor. You will thank yourself.
All of the furnishings are old and in bad shape. Deep scratches in television screen. Locks on door were loose fitting and not very secure. Staff were marginally pleasant and helpful. Basically it was horrible but cheap for the area. They could do much better even at the cheaper price. They just don't seem to care.
I was going to hold off writing a review on this establishment because the staff is truly nice and helpful and the shuttle driver delivered and picked up as promised. However after reading the last review I did not want future occupants to be misled and had to come clean and present the establishment as it really is. An overnight stay as a result of a 17 hour delay in Seattle due to weather and flight cancellation led us to this flea-bag motel. Everything else was full due to the time of night and all the cancellations. Although I usually don’t mind and often like “quirky” and “character” motels this was unbelievable. We propped a chair up against the door as it didn’t lock (front desk said they would watch our room on their security camera for us all night lol). We spread sheets and towels on the floor so that our skin didn’t touch the carpet, there were cigarette burns on the blanket and I could feel every spring on the bed. Front desk even had a sign (warning) that you had ten minutes to decide if the room was acceptable. We really should have run but there was nowhere to run. …

The Escoffier Society annual dinner this year was at the Beechwood Restaurant in Worcester Massachusetts. A gathering of 75 culinary professionals and loyal friends who appreciate good food and good wines attended a dinner provide by the host and owner of the Beechwood Restaurant, Bill Brady. Dinner was preceded by induction of new members which was done in the Beechwood Chapel, a beautifully restored room with stain glass windows which were acquired from Worcester City Hospital when it was closed many years ago. Following the induction, members were treated to a Reception where hors d'oeuvres (Gougeres, Steak tartar, Artic Char, Gravlax & Aquavit and Shrimp Louis) accompanied by a 2016 Chateau Haut Rian Brodeaux Blanc and bubbly N/V Champy Brut. Hors d'oeeuvres and beverages served by a wandering waitstaff while Escoffier members mingled to renew old friendships. The reception was followed by a seven course diner accompanied by fine wines. Several groups of four to six wait staff presented each course in unison, surrounding the table, placing the presentation in front of each guest. The first course "Lobster and Caviar" The lobster served on a brioche surrounded by pea tendrils, sunflower greens and finger limes. The caviar was placed on a bed strip of squid ink tartar sauce. The wine was a 2013 Jaffurs Viognier Bien, Nacido Vineyards. Second course. "Bacon and Egg" House cured Pork belly, Sousa Vide Yolk and Foie de Poulet Frit (Chicken liver pate, deep fried) My wife even ate it with no complaints. The wine a 2016 Piquitos Mascato, D.O. Valencia. Soft but not very sweet as expected with a Moscato. Third course. "Lemon Sole" Sole served on a bed of Charred Scallions and Terragon and accompanied by a single deep fried Wellfleet oyster. The wine a 2013 Pine Ridge Dijon Clone Chardonnay. Fourth course. "Intermezzo" A delicious Apple Cider Sorbet served on a scoped out 1/2 frozen apple. Beside the delicious Sorbet the frozen apple was also delicious. Fifth course. "Wagu Bavette" Truffle potato confit, Romanesco with a sauce Marchand de vin. Sixth course: "Foie Gras" Sour cherry, Tarte aux fruits with a smear of pomegranate. Seventh course. Desert - Cafe, Petit Fours and Mignardises. The dinner event was a four and a half hour culinary event of which all Escoffier membes look forward to each year.…
This place is so old and dilapidated ... we checked in and checked out 15 minutes later !! I was honestly afraid for my health and safety. The carprets were stained, the walls had holes in them , the light fixtures were literally hanging off the walls with the he wiring the walls exposed, the bedspread was filthy we didn’t even turn back the sheets as we were afraid of what have come crawling out from under them !! The exterior had tarps hung over sections of it ! The windows had wooden steaks in them because the locks weren’t working !! DO NOT STAY HERE!! EVEN IF EVERY OTHER ROOM IS BOOKED WITHIN A 25 MILE RADIUS , SLEEP IN YOUR CAR !! YOU WILL BE MUCH BETTER OFF!!!
The room was dreadful. The walls were dirty and pieces chipped off. There was one light and the switch for it had some sticky substance on it. Yuck! All night we felt the coil springs in the bed. Was it a box spring? There was hair on the bathroom sink. The TV didn't work. I could hear the people upstairs all night. The room we had came with an updated bathroom sink and shower. That was the only good things about the room - except the sheets didn't stink.
We booked this Inn as we had a late flight and needed somewhere to stay for the day as we had arrived in from a cruise at 6.30am. Staff are really nice from reception to the shuttle driver. The room however was nothing short of shocking!!!!! Dirty fingerprints on walls, bootmarks on the back of the door, door didn’t seem to close properly, cigarette burns on duvet cover, bathroom dated and bath enamel was rusty and dirty. It was a test of willpower to attempt to wash in the shower, yuck, yuck, yuck. Wouldn’t walk on the carpets barefoot or even lie on the bed, the place just is filthy. Had to leave the bedroom door open to let fresh air in to dilute the heavy odor in the room. It’s such a shame really as the staff were so nice! We got if for a great price and it served its purpose for the few hours we stayed but we most certainly won’t back.…
