The Archer Hotel Redmond garners accolades for its prime location, with guests frequently mentioning the ease of getting to local attractions and transportation. While the ambiance of the hotel earns praise for its cozy fireplaces and chic decor, opinions on service and value show more variability, with some guests highlighting professional staff, yet others pointing out less-than-stellar service and pricing concerns.
Rooms are generally celebrated for their modernity and comfort, though a few guests have raised issues with temperature and maintenance. Amenities are well-regarded, especially the comfortable beds and gym, despite occasional oversights in toiletries.

Detailed Reviews
This is a wonderful hotel and the receptionist that checked us in was professional and friendly. The lobby decor was modern and spacious but not boxy like other hotels. I love all the recommended books they leave around. A good reminder to put your phone away and relax and read. Our room was so clean and well decorated and modern as well and the bed was so comfortable. I stayed in 2 other hotels and a Airbnb during this 9 day trip and this was by far the best. I also feel that the location in Redmond was ideal as it was located in walking distance to an outside clean nicely landscaped & hardcaped 2level shopping mall area with various food places at different price ranges from quick bites/drinks to cafes to sit down restaurants. There was also a little walking path located just outside the hotel that I saw many folks walking their dogs &/or biking &/or jogging. We drove to the ferry in downtown Seattle and it was about 25-30 min away which is not bad. The price we paid for 2 nights was very reasonable for the high quality of the hotel.

Fabulous hotel in the quiet town of Redmond. The town center is next to the hotel and the old town is a very short walk. Lovely space for walking and running adjacent to the hotel.
Hotel reception is a huge space with soft furnishings and plenty of staff even at the busiest of times. A small store for room provisions and gifts is also available and reasonably priced.
The Kitchen and Bar are is a lovely place to relax in an evening with fireplace settings for the chillier times and an outdoor area for sunny warm evenings - we needed both! :-). We didn't eat in the restaurant for evening meals preferring to explore Seattle and Redmond, but the Breakfasts were great with various options to meet all tastes. I literally had a different breakfast every day for a week. Portion sizes were good and the Coffee was lovely. Great Coffee in WA generally! Service in AKB was varied but generally ok. The hotel was full and very busy due to large conferences ongoing during the time we were there.
The rooms were a good size, my room had 2 Queen sized beds which were very comfy with a choice of pillows. This hotel has kept up to date with rooms facilities with power sockets and USB charging all over the room. With a c lock radio with USB A & C ports and cables built into the back to support connecting Lightning and USB-C devices. Bathroom is huge with lovely large bath and shower, multiple sinks and very clean. Only minor critic is no razor sockets in the bath room.
Hotel also boasts a well equipped Gym and small hotel pool.

Top notch hotel. Pleasant staff. Large, clean rooms. Great amenities (i.e., pool, fitness center). Easy proximity to Marymoor Trails, bike trails, shopping. It's about as "walkable"as you can get in car-overrun Redmond. Parking was easy and we didn't have to pay (scanner not working?) but still reasonable price compared Seattle proper. Only concern and reason we may not come back is the pet fee of $150. I'd say that they do offer housekeeping daily (many hotels now are not daily by default) which might add to the cost. But it's WAY more than any other hotels we'd stay at and not what I'd call "pet friendly". This did gives us a lot of nice dog amenities (bowls, bed, treats, etc.) which helped ease the pain of the cost.

Service? Where was the service?
Smallish, but comfortable and initially clean rooms, decent security, have to pay for parking, downstairs restaurant has a limited menu, but a nice if pricey, breakfast buffet. Hotel was very quiet and centrally located for our activities. We stayed three nights, the room cleaning after the first night only got halfway done (bed was made, maybe vacuumed, dirty coffee cups, etc. not taken away, trash not emptied, things that need to be re-supplied were not). After the second night, we came back around 3:30PM after a day of sightseeing to get ready for our evening event and discovered that they hadn’t started to clean our room yet. So, I went to the maids cart that had been parked several doors down (no sign of the maid), pulled off of the cart the items I thought we needed for the rest of our stay, and returned to the room. We put on the do not disturb light so that we could shower and change for the formal event we needed to travel to that evening. Very disconcerting, the hotel is expensive enough that one really does expect daily maid service.

The hotel is clean and pleasant enough but it doesn't have the wow factor. One elevator was out of order on our stay so we were constantly jammed in when getting to our floor, if house keeping was in also it was brutal. The room was average, nothing special and the bedside tables were tiny, made all the more frustrating because the lamp base took up 95% of the space. We were woken three times through the night by extremely loud and obnoxious guests, not a great night's sleep by any means. Finally if there are a family of four in a room cater for four, there should be 4 waters, four robes, four pairs of slippers. Overall it's clean, staff are pleasant enough but it's just bla.

Our overall stay was pleasant We appreciated Sharon our server for breakfast she was so kind and nice to be around. We also found Julie friendly and helpful. There was just a couple of things that where a bit disappointing. 1.) We found that the heating system was very loud and unsettling when trying to get to sleep. 2,) The coffee pot and sink was not cleaned by housekeeping. 3.) When booking, just for the room, we were quoted a price of 271.60 conformation # 5998SE102681. Upon checkout we were charged 379.00. In the future we would suggest that you keep the price that you confirmed to your customer Don't tell your costumers one price and then change it at checkout.

Windows in rooms aren't sound proof. My room was perpendicular to the freeway and I still heard a lot of road noise, I can't imagine what a room is like that faces the freeway. Room was clean but the bathroom since had a very musty odor that was offputing. Internet is slow. I took advantage of their breakfast, arrived when the cafe area opened, asked for a latte and was informed that the espresso machine was going through a cleaning cycle and wasn't available. Why would you start a cleaning cycle just when you are open for customers? Food was good, but the wait staff was not great. Asked for ketchup, salt, and pepper, and it took 5 minutes to get it with the explanation that he had to go find it. Why wouldn't the waiter know where these things are? I wanted to give this place a change, but I won't be back. It certainly is not worth the room rate.

The team at the Archer was incredibly inviting and easy to work with for our business event. The guest services helped me create and place gift bags for each of my guests in their respective rooms. I don't live in state, so this was so helpful!
The catering manager was extremely knowledgeable ad helpful in picking the menus.
The dining room team was always a positive presence to have around our group.
The Archer did a FANTASTIC job helping me make a good impression on my guests.

The Archer is usually my go to for business travel. The cleanliness of my room this time was a huge miss. This room was not cleaned any day of my three-day stay including at check-in. The shower had hair in it soap scum on the shower doors and the desk and nightstands were filthy. I had to wipe everything down with Lysol and scrubbing bubbles wipes. I had to call every day and inquire about housekeeping. All that was done was a towel replacement and on some days (not all) the trash emptied.
Also, I think it’s time for some cosmetic touch ups. The rooms are showing significant wear and tear.

I travel an average of 3-4 times a month for both work and personal, Archer continues to be the gold standard. As a luxury boutique hotel, aesthetics and amenities are on top notch as they are fresh, new, comfortable and welcoming. For me what sets Archer aside is feeling comfortable, safe, and WELCOME! I have stayed at the Redmond Archer 4 or 5 times within the last few years and I have always felt as if I was staying with extended family. Literally everyone from the front desk host, the dining staff, to the bartender (shout out to Layla- who is a true gem) to the nice gentlemen cleaning the elevator mirrors on my most recent visit, takes the time to make sure you feel welcome and taken care of. Every single person, every single stay has always been this way. Hospitality is one thing but Archer takes it to another level. You know it is their philosophy and culture to ensure their travelers want for nothing and are able to relax rest and revive while you are on their watch. You know because you feel it instantly and consistently. They anticipate your needs and wants as if you are a family member coming home after a long work or travel day. When they ask if you need anything, they mean it and want to make your stay beyond perfect. The little details like the sweet treats, books in your room, 24 hour little market all really make you feel like they want you to feel at home. The little details help you feel comfortable and able to take a load off and relax as you know you are in good hands of people who what to help take care of you while you are away- like a family would care for you coming to visit.
