Rain Forest Village has varying accommodations, including a studio w/ kitchen over the laundromat. It's large, private, and nice, and the laundry isn't a problem. BUT... the kitchen equipment was awful to the point of humor. It looked like a combination of junk from yard sales and "I don't really want to throw this out... I guess I'll put it...

We stayed in one of the suites. Room was clean but mattress a bit soft for my liking. Overall the hotel is basic but if you don't have to have luxury you will find everything fine. Nice view of lake from the balcony. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Either the store at the hotel which is also the...

The room is outdated but you cannot beat the wonderful view out of the picture window. The lake and the sunsets are stunning. The store staff which is also the hotel staff are very helpful and friendly. We used the laundry and for the first time in my life putting the minimum amount for a dryer resulted in dry clothing....

After reading some of the negative reviews we weren't sure what to expect upon arrival. We came to the conclusion that some people can't be pleased no matter what. We had a 2nd floor room facing the lake and the view from the big picture window or sitting out on the deck was fantastic. The room is basic but was...

Comfortable and clean rooms overlooking lake. This is a motel, not luxurious but a good value and very well located. Staff, which is located in the adjacent store, is very helpful. A good place to base yourself to do hikes in Olympic National Park rain forest.

No privacy! The room was musty and the brown carpet was stained. The decor was brown to cover up any stains, I imagine. The pillows were very used and awful. We paid a lot of money given what we got in return. The owners should invest some of that money in redoing the place. They were prompt and courteous if...

First, positives: the view is unbeatable. I was on the second floor with a lake view. Totally brilliant! The staff were great. The bed was comfortable. The restaurant is fantastic. It's also cheaper than the place down the road. The soap and shampoo were good. The shop was nice. Negatives: the room was dark. With all the lights on, it...

This place reminded me of my camping days as a kid in the 70's when Smokey admonished that only you could prevent forest fires and we collected bottle caps and aluminum can pop tops to redeem for wildlife stickers. The people here are genuine, the cabins are rustic and the surrounding trails are quiet and magical. Ok, the cabins are...

Lake Quinalt is the reason you are here, right? You didn't come here to pay through the nose for accomadations. Keep that in mind when you are staying here. We were here for just one night on a spur of the moment. So we got the only room left, 219 above the laundromat. Laundromat is open 9am to 9pm so...

Really, the place is a craphole of a hotel that needs serious maintenance. The toilet rocked back and forth and was obviously leaking from the wax ring based on the damage to the linoleum surrounding the toilet. The laminate wood on the bathroom cabinets was peeling off from the bottom. The in-room coffee maker leaked all over and was a...
