Beautiful lodge on Lake Quinault with many outdoor activities and forest trails for hiking around the Lake or in the rain forest. Rooms in the historic section are small but well maintained. Main lodge lobby has huge fireplace with many comfortable chairs and sofas. Lots of historic pictures and beautiful dining room facing Lake Quinault. Great family get away with...

Beautiful location in remote area of the state. Nostalgic charm. Great WARM in door pool was the highlight of the trip for the kids. Loved it. The lodge was and the rooms were directly on the lake with great views and great sunsets over the nearby mountain. Fire place in the lobby was very comfortable making you want to just...

Perfect setting of Lake Quinault lodge directly on the Lake Quinault lakeshore. Historic building with lots of atmosphere and despite of the age in excellent condition and very well maintained. Small but very nicely decorated rooms in the main building with lots of historic furniture. Funny free-standing bath tube. Perfectly quiet location and outstanding beds guaranteing perfect sleep quality. Probably...

The lodge has a beautiful setting and the rooms are of a reasonable standard. The restaurant could do much better and we preferred the slightly quirky Quinault Mercantile over the road for breakfast and the Salmon House, a walkable one mile or so down the road, served a great dinner.

We just spent a weekend at Lake Quinault Lodge with our 2-year-old and another couple with a 2-year-old. It rained all day Saturday but the kids loved the pool (very warm indoor pool) and sitting in the big leather chairs in the lobby/great room area in front of the fireplace. On Sunday the sun came out and we did a...

On the recent spring break, when sometimes all the other kids are out making noise, we found this wonderful lodge on the side of Lake Quinault. The room was larger than average size, room 425, on the third level so we some view of the lake. The Roosevelt Room where we dined had better than average food for a national...

My husband and I decided that we wanted to get away for the weekend. We were so anxious that we ended up arriving a week earlier! go figure! the staff was so warm and friendly and helped us through. They found a better room that what we had reservations for, cost us the same rate, had a lakeview and a...

A million miles away from your busy life. I stayed at the Lake Quinault Lodge and was impressed by how remote and tranquil it is, just a couple hours' drive from Seattle and the interstate highway system. The lodge itself dates back to the 1920s; some rooms in the lodge are available for booking, but by modern standards they are...

We stayed here for a long weekend last month. The Fireplace Rooms were very comfortable, and had excellent views of the lake. The Great Room, with stuffed chairs and couches were a wonderful place to relax. The Roosevelt Room restaurant had excellent food! We thoroughly enjoyed the van tour of the surrounding Olympic National Park and National Forest.

We were "winging it" and wound up at Quinault Lodge. My review might be somewhat biased based on us being lucky enough to have arrived on one of those rare times in late March that it is not raining in Washington but.... We loved this place. The grounds were beautiful. Large grassy area with addirondack chairs casually placed about. The...
