We came in from the rain to warm up and look around. We had stayed there overnight some time ago and enjoyed it. Wonderful gift shop with professional and friendly help. The big "living room" was very inviting; two chess sets were set up, and several puzzles. Outside the rain gauge is impressive - apparently in 2015 there was a...

While the weather left a lot to be desired while we were there (not surprising for mid-February) the hotel totally delighted me with its history, charm and romance. The huge crackling fireplace was such a cozy spot to sit and look at historic photos of the lodge or to work a puzzle or play one of the games they have...

Thanks for sharing your feedback. February weather can bring anything as you saw. We have seen three seasons in one day sometimes. Today was 50 and sunny and we suddenly had a hail storm leaving a half an inch of "snow" for the kids to play in. We're glad you enjoyed your stay and appreciated the history, charm and romance...

We did not expect luxury accommodations when we made our reservations. We mostly came for the hiking. Our dog goes wherever we go, so we had to get a pet friendly room at the lodge. We were very disappointed when we saw the room since it was very pricey. There was still a dog toy left from the last occupants,...

Thank you for providing us with feedback. I'm also one of those people that travels with my dog. The Boathouse, where you stayed, is our main pet friendly building. We missed the seeing and removing the dog toy. It sounds like we'll need to take a closer look at the condition of that room as well. As for the trails,...

Very relaxing beautiful lodge... The hiking in the area is incredible as well. No phone access which really lead to healthy break. When I drove around the lake I felt like I was on Safari with all the elk.

We appreciate you sharing your review. We're glad you were able to see the Roosevelt Elk. That's a special experience that not everybody gets to have. The herd has a mind of it's own and they can be anywhere in that area. It sounds like you had a restful experience and made the most out of your visit. We hope...

Lake Quinault Lodge is beautiful and rustic. If you enjoy peace and quiet, grab a book and head up here. It's located in a rain forest so bring appropriate boots and coats. Our room in the lodge faces the lake and we have a lovely gas fireplace. The dining room offers wonderful food. Try the clam chowder.

It felt like we stepped back in time! The setting for this lodge built in 1926 is awesome, the peaceful lake out the front door as a beautiful sight and the rainforest right out side the back door offers a 1.6 mile hiking loop that takes you through a lush and spectacular array of ferns, mosses, giant trees, and cascading...

My husband and I stayed here 2 nights for our 1st anniversary back in October. It is so beautiful here and the lodge offers a beautiful place to relax and unwind. There are different styles of rooms to choose from: original, old-style; modern both in the lodge and the building next to it; and multi-family. Each, of course, offers different...

I was stunned with the beauty of this area. Gorgeous. Lots to see in short drives. Great location. Some unexpected things that I'll pass along: Lodging at the lodge: beautiful, modern amenities, loved loved loved the view from my room. We stayed in room outside of main building. Third floor, ramps to haul luggage. I thought the price was reasonable...

Thanks for sharing your review. We're glad you enjoyed the Lodge and the surrounding area. I realize that the upscale dining can be challenging to the budget. We're working on providing some added cost friendly specials. One idea that has already been implemented is the Kids menu. We hope you return soon. Please check out web page to find the...

We stayed here for 3 nights on our summer family vacation. The lake is beautiful and made even more so by the fog that rolls in and out throughout the day. I would guess that the lake never gets very warm for water activities - in mid-june we did not see anyone over the 3 days even near the lake....

Thanks for sharing your review. You provided a perfect description of the Lodge and the environment here. The number of hummingbirds at that time of year is amazing. I agree about the water temperature. Being a glacial lake, it takes some hardy souls to jump in before the water warm up mid August. When we have a lot of sunny...

There are some places so blissfully disconnected from the modern world that they seem to stand suspended in time.
