I have been coming to the Lodge for 45 years, since I was two. I now travel 3000 miles to get here. It is the most beautiful spot in the world to me, and I love it with all my heart. The Lodge is well maintained and authentic, devoid of gadgets, "improvements," and modern horrors. The setting is immaculate. It's...

Their motto says "The Rest Is Easy" and they are right! Beautiful views with wonderful waterfalls in walking distance. Very old style lodge right on the lakeshore makes you feel like you've gone back in time. Come & enjoy.

Set in the middle of a rainforest, this lodge has everything I wanted in a getaway from it all. Huge fireplace in the main lodge, warm welcoming rooms, high caliber restaurant, friendly/helpful staff. You can walk out the door of the lodge and be hiking in the rainforest in 1 minute. The view fro m the restaurant is the lovely...

Worth the visit, stayed three nights. Wish you could get a cup of coffee in the lobby in the morning. Cannot beat its proximity to hiking and rain forest. If you want a slower pace and relax, then enjoy. Has a mercantile across the street for supplies.

The lodge is as lovely as we were told-great lobby, fireplace and chairs to louge in both indoors and out. But they moved us to 4 diff rooms and were very difficult to deal with on a Sunday night with the lodge def. not full. I reserved a Queen room. First they put us in a room with a window...

Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry you were confused by the various room types. When a reservation is made it is for a particular room type and the rate that is associated with it. It sounds like you were offered several different choices within the room type you reserved. Rooms with a lake view are offered at a higher rate,...

If you are exploring the southwestern end of the Olympic Peninsula, the Lake Quinault Lodge is a very special place to stay. The rain forest is immediately across the street with great hiking trails. The region is easily accessible from the lodge. The food at the on site Roosevelt Restaurant is marginal at best. We had 2 breakfasts and 2...

Great old lodge. My husband and I drove to this lodge for our wedding anniversary. This is a great escape from the hustle and bustle of Seattle. Very peaceful and breathtaking view of the lake during sunrise and sunset or any time of the day. The lodge is also very close to several hiking trails which we both enjoy during...

A great old park-style lodge on the edge of Lake Quinault. Nicely updated recently. Rooms in the lodge are smaller, classic sink-in-the-room style. Fieplace rooms are spacious, nice baths, some great views. Other options available. Big main room and fireplace, comfortable furniture to dry out and drink after a day hiking. Nice staff.
