I stayed one night at the Manresa Castle with one of my best friends. We planned to combine girls night and chit chat with some ghost hunting. We got a room with two beds. The room was VERY simple, a bit shabby to be honest, and the bathroom was down the hall. I wasn't thrilled about that at first, but...

Based on the other reviews I thought there would be a working elevator but that wasn't the case. We stayed here with my Mom who has an bad knee and ankle. Ended up having to climb so many stairs it really effected her stay as she ended up being in pain the whole time. I would not recommend this place...

What an interesting place to stay!! We had a pleasant time here. Vintage and antique location with cozy rooms on the second floor in the newer part of the castle (if you consider built in 1927 newer) We stayed in room 214 for $86 one night through Booking.com. If you are looking for luxury, DO NOT COME HERE. You come...

This impressive property, having a new life as a hotel, has that lovely, creaky elegance that makes a night in a hotel into an experience. If all you want is a room to sleep in, this might not be your place. We had our own bathroom, but it was two doors down the hall. Bathrobes were provided in the closet....

If you are looking for something modern with modern luxury perks, this isn't the place for you. But if you're looking for the real Victorian feel, stay and experience you'll love this place! I absolutely fell in love with Manresa Castle. The history, the haunting stories, the decor and food made for a perfect getaway! The room was cozy, beautiful...

Fantastic history, very charming, love the simple furnishings and ambiance. This place is magical. Jody and her crew are warm, welcoming and kind. I can't say enough about Manresa except I will be back. This is a chance to surround yourself in the vintage rooms and antiques. It's like being transported back in time, back to the late 1800's when...

The bed was great. My bathroom was very nice as well. That was the good; now for the rest. The room was a closet. No place for clothing, and I mean nothing, no closet, no draws nothing but a place to hang my coat. Elevator does not work. The beautiful dinner is closed, no wake up calls. Room door made...

Enjoyed the clean, comfortable, vintage room and bathroom. Hotel public rooms are beautiful to look at, but difficult to enjoy since restaurant and lounge are closed. The library was open and felt like a classic hotel lobby. The problem is that we were looking forward to the continental breakfast in the very attractive and way above average breakfast room only...

If you're looking for a 5 star castle with room service and jet tubs in every room, DONT book a room here. But if you'd like an authentic Victorian era visit then this is the place! The Manresa Castle is NOT an actual castle, and never has been. It originated as a private residence INSPIRED by Prussian castles, then became...

Our stay at Manresa Castle was truly magical while being both comfortable and affordable, but there are issues you should be aware of and bear in mind. First some fun stuff: It is haunted. It is a famous haunted castle and has been on every TV show that deals with the paranormal. You should befriend the receptioninst and ask for...
