We only stayed for 1 night at the Heron House (part of the Eld House) and wish we could have spent more time. This beautiful cabin provides comfort in an idyllic rustic setting. You immediately feel cozy inside with the fireplace, beautiful leather chairs/sofa and the quaint kitchen area with lots of herbal tea that warmed us up. There are...

This was a stunning retreat cabin nestled in the woods off Puget Sound. This hand hewn log cabin sits on a hill overlooking the trees and the water. A lovely continental breakfast is awaiting you in the fridge. It was a lovely weekend away! The owners who live down the hill are kind and attentive to your needs. We wish...

Stayed for a few nights and loved this place. There are several losing options on the property and we stayed at the Eld House. B&B is right on the Sound and you can take out the kayaks, fish, or do what we did, sit out and enjoy the peaceful view. The owners are fantastic. Great wealth of knowledge about the...

We just returned from a 2 day stay at the Eld House. It was so much better than the pictures. The 1 bedroom guest house is located above their garage area, with a magnificent view of the Eld Inlet. There were four of us at the house with 2 of the boys sleeping on their sofa bed (which was already...

We stayed in the Heron House and this is the first review I have ever written that I am giving a one-star rating to. We arrived after a long drive to the house in the early evening with our 2 boys and encountered so many problems, I'll describe them briefly here. The house is for 4 people, the price is...

Heron House is a B&B facility just outside of Olympia. The B&B is located on Sunrise Beach Road, which is a very quiet road next to the Eld Inlet. The B&B is at the top of a moderately steep hill and there is a gravel parking area across the driveway. The log cabin B&B is accessible via several stairs, so...

We loved our experience staying in the Heron House, one of two accommodations operated by the Eld House. This rustic, yet elegant cabin in the woods had everything you could need for a peaceful, relaxing retreat. From the lofted bedroom area, we were treated to a beautiful view of Eld Inlet through the trees, while enjoying the most luxurious, comfortable...

Chris was an outstanding host for us. The house is very comfortable, and the setting is beautiful. It's not really a B&B, but Chris does put out some great snacks for the morning. This is a great option if you are looking for a quiet and private place, and I think he has another little house further up the hill...

We stayed two nights - I could have stayed a week to relax, enjoy the beach of the Eld Inlet (southern end of Pungent Sound), and relax some more. We stayed in the Heron House, a recently completed cabin. It worked well for my wife and I - we were there by ourselves, and I think it's pretty much laid...

My wife and I stayed at the Eld House two nights in January 2014. An incredibly beautiful spot. It was very quiet and peaceful. The place was much roomier than I expected, with a separate bedroom. Lots of paperbacks to read. Because of the season we didn't try to take advantage of the kayaks they have available. It's about 15...
