PROS - Loved that they had a playground, paddle boats, canoes, etc. to use/rental while there. It's really beautiful, quiet and clean. CONS - Bathrooms need renovation or better maintenance. *2 out of 3 showers were working, DO NOT recommend showering w/out slippers, showers were rusty and the 4 days/3 nights we were there the showers were NOT cleaned! hair...

We stayed in the Baker Cabin overlooking the lake for a 4 generation visit. The youngest of us was 7 and the oldest 75. The cabin worked perfect for us. It was extremely clean, the bunk beds comfortable, the bathroom spacious and easy for a walker or wheelchair. The view from the covered deck is beautiful! There is a stove,...

Silver Lake Park Lodge is not a hotel or motel. It is a step up from the typical quaint cabins that are available at the park. The lodge is below the main office and Ranger housing. It has a wonderful view of of the lake from the kitchen and all three bedrooms. A covered area outside in case it rains...

In reality, it is a Lakeside Mother In Law Basement Apartment, not standalone but underneath the back side of the lodge. The picture they show is of the Day Lodge on the east side of the building. The Lakeside Lodge you enter on the west side of the lowest level. The kitchen was not "well equipped", better bring your own...

Silver Lake is set in the woods near the US / Canada border in the foothills of the Cascade Mountains. The park features a visitors lodge with a dock and boat rentals (rowboats, paddle boats). The picnic and lawn areas stretch around a small peninsula on the lake with a sand/fine gravel beach area for swimming, a small playground for...

This is one of the best places to camp if your are looking for a new adventure every day. Mount Baker is stunning and short drive from the park, hiking trails abound for all physical attributes, there is swimming, fishing and other water activities which the whole family will enjoy. The cabins are rustic and quaint, the lodge is fantastic....

We spent a week here in September for a family camp out and had a wonderful time. Most of the campground is pretty shady which is nice in the summer months. In the fall the shady areas are cooler so most campers look for spots in loop 5 which is on the outer edge of the park and gets some...

We RV here at Silver Lake Park. It's quiet, shady and the RV sites are far enough apart it feels pretty private. I've gotten a site every time, the Rangers there are very accommodating. There are paddle boats to rent, a swimming area, hiking trails, and fishing. There aren't any grocery stores close but there is Maple Falls that's not...

We were looking for a place to camp near Bellingham, this was a bit further than we expected (about a 40 minute drive) but very beautiful and peaceful, nestled in the foothills of Mt. Baker. The park has pedal boats and canoes to rent, a small unguarded swimming beach, and a playground. The campsites and cabins are all surrounded by...

Beautiful little mountain lake with reasonably-priced canoe and paddle boat rentals for day trippers. Nice campground as well, and good fishing if you have gear & a license. If you're in the Mt. Baker area in summer and looking for a break from hiking or off-road adventures, this is a nice, close-by option. Lovely place.
