One of our favorite ways to visit the gorge for a wine weekend. We will keep coming back. It just feels good to stay here. This time we got to enjoy dinner. Highly recommend the smoked olives and veggie curry. Yum. And very accommodating with no-carb diet. Accommodating with local wine purchases having no corkage fee though their red on...

This little inn serves great purpose to provide a landing ground while exploring the nature and wineries of Lyle. Venture east, tasting along your way and wind up here for a night tucked in. From the cozy bar to the restaurant the only "negative" is if you don't drink enough and are a very light sleeper. The train tracks that...

Great B&B feel! Welcoming small town feel in wine country! Friendly staff! Good food, cute rooms and live music! By partner and I went here to get out of Portland and we are not disappointed! You can tell that every detail from the beer on tap to the furniture placement was well thought out!

If you are looking for a cookie-cutter Hilton room, you may not be happy here. However, if you are looking for a fun, personable, sweet, historic spot, you'll love it here. It's extremely convenient if you are touring and wine tasting in the spectacular gorge on the Washington side. The Lyle hotel has a wonderful restaurant, it feels like a...

I tried out the Lyle hotel restaurant . Yes it is open for a short time 3-4 days I think I went there on a Friday. Had a flat iron steak that was was cooked perfectly. Atleast to my satisfaction. which is hard to cause, I seem to criticize alot about food. (Food snob). Quiet place but good.

Both the hotel and it's owners are gems. I am so very happy that they have taken on renovating and running this historic hotel. It is coming back to life under their care, attention to detail and hard work. They are employing locals, making great food with local food/beverage sources and providing travelers with an ability to stay right in...

Nice little getaway location. Very convenient to the area wineries. I liked being on the quieter Washington side of the gorge. The beds were comfy and the hotel was renovated nicely although some details could be brought up to the standard of the rest of the hotel. The train does pass close by but this must be true of nearly...

We found this hotel while driving thru and were glad we did. The owners and staff were friendly and helpful. Room amenities were upscale and included comfortable beds, thick sheets, multiple pillows, terry bathrobes, nice soaks and lotions. The hotel is somewhat limited by its age: for instance bathrooms are in the hall and shared. But because it is small...

The Lyle Hotel was built by the railroad for employees' layovers. It's rustic with a recent freshening up by new owners. The rooms are small but comfortable. The shared baths are new and spotlessly clean. What sets the hotel apart is it's restaurant - well worth a visit even if not staying there - and the friendliness of the owners...

The man and woman who run this hotel and restaurant are very friendly and pleasant. He cooks, and the menu is creative, though a bit heavy on garlic. The rooms are spotless, the communal baths and toilets are clean. We arrived on a Friday night, and while the proprietor said, "they quiet down after 9," in fact the dinner crowd partied...
