We stayed there at the end of December, and got lucky that we could walk out the door and put on our snowshoes -- often you have to drive up the mountain for a while before you get to snow.

Thank you for your inquiry. The National Park Inn is not pet friendly. The National Park Service allows pets on a leash in a parking area but does not allow them on trails or in any buildings in the park.
