Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travellers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
Priced too high for very little. We paid over $200 for a room that didn't even include breakfast of any kind in the morning. The lobby looked like romper room with kids toys all over the place. We would have expected better accommodations for the price, especially being at the Arch of the World's Longest Beach. We will stay elsewhere next time.

We were plenently suprised at the room here. Longbeach being an old vacation area we expected a much older apearing building. The room was of nice size, two queens with a table and two chairs. Also had a microwave and refergerator. Nice to have the sink, toilet, and tubshower all in a private room. I normally don't shave and brush my teeth in my bedroom. Located a block away from the highway and had a beach access about 300 ft. Would return.

A great location. When booking we never know just where we will be located. The Inn is only a block off the main area of downtown. To the back of the Inn it’s only a few blocks to the beach. We can see (kind of) the beach from our room window. The other way, it’s only a few blocks to the main street. We are able to walk to dinner and looking around. We were greeted by a very nice desk clerk. Quite engaging and accommodating. Our room has been recently renovated. It’s pristine with new carpet, furniture and paint. The room has a king bed with two end tables, a credenza with dresser, a micro and mini-fridge, a writing desk with chair and two reclining easy chairs. The easy chairs were a novelty to us in a hotel. Different. And quite comfortable. All in a large room. Quite nice.

Due to the current pandemic I am being extra cautious. Upon arrival I wiped down all frequently touched surfaces. Unfortunately the light switches, table and dresser top and bedside stand were not clean. There was water on the floor in the entryway and when wiped up with a paper towel, the towel was brown. One of the amenities noted on the website is breakfast included in the room rate. I do understand that the typical type of breakfast could not be served, however, there was no reduction in room rate nor any type of breakfast offered in lieu of their normal breakfast. Inn is in need of update.

Our room was spacious and comfortable, but management and maintenance are the worst I have seen in the U.S. or most Asian and European countries. The ocean view room was technically ocean view in that you can see a little bit of ocean in the distance on a clear day, but a telescope would help. it's long hike and you would probably want to drive. There was no clock in the room so I tried to call the office for a wakeup call, but the phone didn't work. I went down to the office which claims to be open from 8 to 8 and they were were locked up tight at 5:15 PM. There was a number to call for help so I called it and was told that wakeup calls were a service they didn't provide. When I told her the phone in our room didn't work I got a "Sir, I'm so sorry"' How's that for proactive? When I woke up to the alarm on my cell phone. I found that the continental breakfast had been discontinued due to Covid-19. Understandable, I guess, But they could have cobbled together a coffee and hardboiled egg or fruit takeout without breaking the bank. The fact that the shower curtain smelled like a dirty mop was just icing on the cake.

We brought our dogs, room was very clean. Was a last minute trip,would stay here again. Front desk was very accommodating as well as the hosts, an easy text away if we had any questions! Bathroom was clean and well lit.

I must say, the pictures don't do this place justice at all. Way nicer in person. Beach access is like 4 minutes away and the staff is one of my favorite. Staff full of dog-lovers which is a huge plus for me. I will be back this summer, Long Beach!

Went for 2 nights. Had a room on the first floor, front is facing the parking and the back had also windows which is nice. You only don’t get a view because it’s on the first floor. Room was renovated recently (some room were also being under renovations when visited). Job seemed to have been done quick though: faucet looks nice, but is really not well designed (either goes everywhere on the counter, either splashes on you), shower had low pressure, caulking was done quick and floor tiles on the bathroom are already moving because of the water excess! Room itself is ok, size is good, pillows and bed comfortable.
Room was mostly clean, except for the floor (you only had to walk 5 secs barefoot to notice the color under the feet…).
Location is great ! Next to the arch, easy to walk to the beach and all stuff to do in town.

Very dissappointed. High price for 1 bed and couch. Fry pan scary scratched teflon.hair hanging from bathroom door hinge. No breakfast even though advertised.stove fan screen torn and greasy. Did not feel sanitized. Will mot revisit.

Needed a relaxing stay by the ocean, took all my stress away. Everyone was friendly at front desk.My room was clean, I had excellent Oceanview. My bed was comfortable. I was really impressed on how quiet and peaceful my experience was, perfect timing and exactly what I needed. This is usually my go to place in Long Beach, I just hadn’t been here since 2019. I will definitely be back.
