We stayed one night in the seafront cabins. Quaint, clean and cute. Small private bath and shower. Full small kitchen. Totally Oceanside. Great view. Warm and good beds. Nothing fancy. But nice. We had a small craft advisory hit us while sailing, so we stayed at Mikes Beach Resort. Met Mike! They have been here 65 years. Good location. We...

The highlight of our stay at Mikes was playing on their great beach and harvesting shellfish. We stayed with 4 kids and two adults in one of the upper level guest suites. With two bulky bunk beds, a queen bed, kitchenette and dining table the small space was very cramped and a little dark. It could use some brightening up...

A friend I were looking for a place on the hood canal that would accept dogs and this was the only place near where we wanted to be that did. We were booked in the hillside cabin to allow extra space for the dogs. The cabin was in good condition and fine, however we had a serious mouse problem. The...

Mike's Beach resort cabins are classic one room cabins with kitchens and windows literally on the water. The main activities are fishing, scuba and beach sitting and oyster picking. A unique cabin experience, most hikes and other attractions are within 5-20 miles drive. Don't miss Hamma Hamma oyster grill.

We stayed in a quaint (but clean) waterfront cabin for a long weekend. The staff was nice and the grounds were well kept. The motel has been around for years but it looks like the new generation of family management is working hard to keep everything in good order. The diving was good at Mike's and the motel is only...

I went on AirBNB to book a romantic birthday weekend for my partner and I. Their cabins were listed as available and accepting booking requests and payment info...placing a hold on my funds. Next day rolls around and still no communication from the place. My reservation is still pending and my funds are still on hold. I call the resort...

Beautiful view. Upon arrival the room looked quaint. It is beautiful to look out and see the water right there. There should not have been bunk beds along with the regular bed. It made the room too crowded. The toilet leaked and flushed every 30 minutes so we had to close the pipe at night. My towel had 5 holes...

We came to the Hood Canal for a wedding. This property is very rustic, charming and the setting is breath-taking. We stayed in Cabin 2. It was darling and just that; a cozy cabin right on the water. The view is AMAZING. The family that owns the property is wonderful, hospitable, and helpful. It is a small cabin resort right...

I don’t even know where to begin. To start with, when I called I was told that there was an RV available, so we booked it. When we arrived, what we found was not an RV, but a small, old, dirty camper sitting on the highway. Upon entering and checking the toilet compartment, we were dismayed to find a roll...

Wanted to book through airbnb to get little lakeside cabin for about $80 with coupon. Received email saying they aren't currently taking online reservations and to call them... Ended up renting a room for $135 + $12 pet fee. Thought was a lakeside unit but was further back in a separate building with partial ocean view off deck. Showed up...
