If you stay at Mountain Home Lodge, which I highly recommend, chef Ron Guenther, serves a superb 5 star daily breakfast, nightly appetizers, and a full meal Saturday evening. It's all sublime. No fake food here! All the ingredients are fresh, and real food, and you can tell. Some examples for us: his garden salad, tender greens dressed in Ron's...

Thanks for sharing your experience at Mountain Home Lodge with other travelers. Wonderful to read you had a super visit. The Cascades are gorgeous right now with snow capped peaks and wildflowers blooming everywhere. Our meadow is full of Arrow-leafed Balsam Root, Lupine and Larkspur. The lilacs have just started to bloom filling the air with their sweet scent. Chef...

While this is in the style of a bed and breakfast, it certainly didn't feel like one and offered plenty of space for privacy. I recommend staying in the winter as all your meals are included along with winter activities. We stayed two nights but if can do three nights, do it. We wished we had since it we were...

So appreciative of you taking the time to share your visit to the mountain with other travelers. We like to think of ourselves as a “destination resort inn” rather than a B&B too, as there is so much more here than just a bed and breakfast! With Chef Ron’s gourmet cuisine, miles of pristine forest trails right from our door...

This was our 7 trip to Mountain Home Lodge. Just love coming to this place. The food is fantastic, the service outstanding and the location is to die for. We did a total of 10 miles on snowshoes over the weekend. The views are BEAUTIFUL! The staff is also incredible. Helpful and full in information about any activities you might...

Another rave review for this wonderful place! My husband and I went here to celebrate my 30th birthday and it was perfection. I have never had a better birthday, and it was in my top 3 of trips we have been on (which is saying a lot, we love to travel). The minute you arrive you feel very much at...

Wonderful to hear your birthday celebration was perfect for you and your hubby. We enjoyed meeting you both and sharing the magic of the mountain with you. The fresh fallen snow was the “icing on your cake”, so to speak! Thanks for sharing your artistic talents with us and creating an amazing snowman. He lasted well, until he decided to...

We stayed at Mountain Home Lodge at the tail end of a busy vacation to Seattle/Victoria/Anacortes in September. It was the perfect place to unwind, relax, and enjoy beautiful scenery. Brad and Kathy are more than gracious hosts. The attention to detail was impeccable, with many amenities surpassing those of the 5 star hotel where we stayed in Victoria. We...

The setting, ambiance, amazing cuisine, attention to detail are exquisite. Best of all,...

Absolutely beautiful lodge!!! Kathy and Brad made our two day stay perfect in every way. Breakfast was included. We had a delicious dinner Saturday night at the lodge. They also have great trails from the Lodge. It was definitely a very memorable experience. I can't praise Kathy and Brad enough for being such wonderful hosts.
