We stayed in two different rooms (because we extended our stay and asked to move), and both rooms were awesome. The room on the water front was beautiful! The room with the bedroom upstairs was big! Both kitchens were nice. Even the sheets, pillows, blankets and towels were nice. The owners were so hospitable. Walking distance to the cute town,... More

Thank you for your enthusiastic Trip Advisor review of your October stay at the Boatyard Inn. Our guests often point out, as you did, the spaciousness of our rooms, all ranging from 600-900 square feet. We hope we will be your first choice for waterfront accommodations the next time you visit Whidbey Island. Cathy Puma, co-owner More

Sadly, my mother in law passed away in early October and we head up to her home of Langley, WA. From past visits to see her, I remember going by the Boatyard Inn and always wanting to stay here. From the 1st call we made about availability, until the minute we checked out after our weeklong stay, I was overwhelmed... More

The Boatyard Inn is small and lovely--right on the water, and I do mean 5 feet! Our room was two stories with two separate bedrooms and baths, a living room with gas fireplace and a small kitchen. It would work equally well for a couple or two friends. The views were spectacular, and the beds and sofas comfy. Amenities included... More

We appreciate your taking the time to write about your recent experience at the Boatyard Inn. This time of year, as storms stir up Saratoga Passage, high tides can provide a dramatic seascape that guests can watch from the comfort of their suites. Sometimes you can stand out on the cantilevered decks and feel the spray of salt water on... More

The Boatyard Inn is super. We stayed in a suite for two couples and it was comfortable, clean, and well-stocked for cooking. We had a fireplace and a nice little deck at the water's edge. The beds were yummy! The location is an easy walk to great restaurants and great shopping. The Innkeeper, Mynda Myers, is lovely and was helpful... More

We are so pleased you and your friends enjoyed your recent visit to Langley and that you chose the Boatyard Inn for your stay. Many of our frequent guests arrive by boat, moor at the Langley Marina, and check into the inn seeking the “creature comforts” one can yearn for after a number of days at sea…including, as you point... This place is one of those best kept secrets. Right on the water, walking distance to town. The staff is helpful and friendly and have great suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. The rooms are all suites with kitchens, fireplace, ocean views, verandas, etc.

Thank you for spreading the word about the Boatyard Inn on TripAdvisor. So many visitors to Langley are seeking waterFRONT accommodations, but we are easy to miss. Tucked away from the traffic of Main Street, we are located right on the beach only 200 yards down the hill from the main entrance to town (across from the library). The Boatyard... More

Everything the other "5" reviews say is true, this is the place to stay in Langley. We wanted a romantic escape. We stayed on the second floor, and the view was wonderful. Although, it is an expensive place, the quality of everything was outstanding. It is also very clean. The decor is tasteful. There is no clutter which I very much appreciate. We did have a problem finding a restaurant open Sunday evening.

This was a last minute reservation and the Inn did not disappoint.
