Located right on main street, perfect location to explore this charming little town. The rooms are tastfully updated while keeping the original look and feel of this historical Inn. The staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the view of the enclosed courtyard with its interesting works of art, thought it was much nicer than looking over Main Street.... More

I wanted a hotel downtown and convenient to the LaConner Quilt Museum where I was taking a class. The hotel is not like the modern chain hotel/motels found all over the American landscape ... it is a restored historic building. Modernized by the current owners with new heating, plumbing, electricity, etc. The LaConner main street (So. 1st St) is lined... More

I was the doing the MS ride in Mt. Vernon and I did not want to drive up from Seattle. So I looked on line and chose the Hotel Planter and was not disappointed. The owners were super nice and my room was clean, up to-date and very spacious. I was able to bring my bike upstairs with no problem.... More

A pleasant place. One gives the owners applause for saving this historic main street building. It does look a bit tired again inside (like 1980s mauve and dusty blue flowered wallpaper) --but these kinds of projects are expensive. Very nice staff. We had a tiny room on the main street (noisy). Wouldn't have wanted to stay more than one night.... More

Just returned from a one nighter at the Hotel Planter. First time in La Conner, which is a very quaint town-at only around 140 km's from Vancouver,it is a must for Vancouverites. And as an added bonus get there via scenic Chuckanut Drive. Back to the Planter. Climb the stairs to the lobby area where you are greeted with free... More

We stayed one night at the Planter Hotel in La Conner and would rate it highly if you can climb the stairs to it's location on the second floor. What they have done with this property that was originally built in 1907 is amazing. Twelve rooms on the second floor, some looking out on the street and a few looking... More

Spent 2 nights here and enjoyed every bit of it.....from the jacuzzi to the very comfortable bed and more. The hotel is in the exact right spot for browsing the shops and walking along the pier. I would definitely return here again ....

We spent a June weekend with friends in La Conner and chose the Hotel Planter as it was on Living Social. What a wonderful little gem of a place, right on the historic main street and nicely refurbished. The room was large, bed comfortable and over look the main street which in some towns would mean a noisy night. Not... More

We booked a room at Hotel Planter as it was on a special from Hotels.com. The location was very good, at the end of the commercial strip in downtown La Conner, and across the street from the famous Calico Corner Bakery. The room was on the small side but the bathroom was perfect; however, there is only a shower, no... More

My husband and I enjoy our one night stay at Hotel Planter. It was our first visit to La Conner (we were catching a ferry out of Anacortes the next morning), so didn't spend much time there. It looked liked a cute little town and the hotel was close to the water, shops, restaurants, etc. The room and bathroom were... More
