Cable crept dropping out, gross splotches on wall, sheets had grease stands and black specs on them, room felt dirty and smelled bad, box spring mattresses lined the walkway to the room. Front desk people helpful for what that is worth.
I"m not from the are so I'm not sure how the city works but I was suprise how there was people smoking weed outside the stair well and people drinking on the second floor hall, maybe its normal to people from the area but for me it was not and the room did not look anything like the website.
The mattress was old and lumpy and it felt like there were bed bugs. I ended up sleeping in a sleep sack that I carry with me. The alarm clock had been unplugged, which was terribly inconvenient because I need to be awake by 5:00 am the next day and I didn't want to take the time to figure out how to reset it. I ended up using my phone. The whole experience was terrible - terrible value. It was maybe worth $60 but not the $154 that I ended up paying.
I blindly registered at this property, and upon our arrival I had a rush of memories from days when I was lost, living on the streets, and doing lots of drugs, and this hotel is right smack in the middle of where there is LOTS of illegal activity. We did not get a sound nights sleep because, there was to much activity right outside our door, and in the room above us. The adjacent hotel, was way run down, and had even more activity going on. We ended up checking out one night early, even knowing we would not get refunded for the room because, we went to go for a walk, and saw at least 4 sets, that is 8 cop cruisers positioned around the neighborhood, and we had only walked 1 block away from the property.
Needed a place to stay for a wedding in Kingston - this was the last place we could find - excited about the budget price and the photos looked nice but don’t be fooled. Staff was friendly but upon entering the room you’re roundhouses in the face with the stench of decades of cigarette smoke. The room was in pretty shabby condition - bent lamp shades, broken wiring to the other lamp, and a god awful mattress. We stayed two night and between the mattress and paper thin walls, we didn’t get any sleep. The noises from the other rooms, people hanging outside all hours of the night/morning and the toilet flushes and running water from other rooms kept us up. Never stayed at a travelodge before but now I know what to expect - couldn’t beat the price but lesson learned.
Near medical clinic where I had appointments with and places to go get food or go shopping, quality with a good price tag with a lot of places to visit. Alot of people who i know I was able to visit and enjoy my time in the Seattle area.
The room said no smoking but smelled of cigarettes terrible. The room in general was just a bit shabby with molding poorly installed if installed at all. We were on the 2nd floor and quite often had to pass by a woman smoking at the bottom of the stairs.
This place is clean. The beds are very comfortable. The staff was always kind and welcoming. Its safe with wide choice for breakfast. .There is a grocery across the street and a microwave and refrigerator in the room'
The staff were helpful and courteous. But the hotel isn't what it used to be and not worth the rate. My bathtub wouldn't drain even over night and the door had to be slammed to close. And was very hard for me to open. There was a door with gang signs sprayed on it and a guy staring me down until I left the area. I will not be coming back to this one.
My room smelled, I found bed bugs, and then I checked the sheets and noticed stains. I recorded a video of the stains on the sheets. The breakfast area was very small, only three small tables. In the morning, earl August, often guests had to have their breakfast while standing.
