if your looking for basic lodging the Blue Mountain Motel is a great bargain. just came back from a pheasant hunting trip and used Dayton as our base. The owner/operator was very friendly and courteous. While they don't put on a big continental breakfast they are one of the most reasonable places to stay. They own the motel, a Mexican...

While checking in the woman asked for my drivers license in addition to my credit card. She then proceeded to check us in while on the phone the entire time in what appeared to be a personal, not business, call. After giving us the key to our room, while continuing her phone conversation, she neglected to return my drivers license....

The Blue Mountain Hotel is a decent bed, shower, Cable TV, and internet, to escape 10 straight days of camping out in the nearby Blue Mountains Elk hunting. Average place, and average price. But the good thing is, it's easy to walk around, explore and walk to restaurants in the pleasant little town of Dayton, Washington.

The rate paid is equal to the value received. Our room was clean, our bed was comfy, our towels were fluffy. The walls are thin - you clearly hear your neighbors and their water running. There's one parking spot per room and it's very tight. Easy town for walking.

This hotel was just fair. The rooms were clean, but old and worn out. The desk was unmanned except by the owner/manager's approximately 8 year old son. We had to wait for his mother to get there from their gas station across the road. Ice was from the gas station also, so be prepared to cross the highway, if you...

I booked this room for my husband and son who were going to be traveling through Dayton. They got in late at night so they didn't want to pay 4 times the price at the local Best Western. They told me that the room was very basic, beds were okay to sleep on. The only thing that they really didn't...

If you are looking for anything above a basic bed, towels and a shower, do not stay here! But if that is what you are looking for - then this is a Perfect Place. For $57 a night, you get just the basics and fruit and coffee and pastries for breakfast. Heck meals are often more expensive than $57! But...

Stayed here because it was cheap. It was cheap in every sense of the word. Smelled like smoke. Shower was cold and I had to bend over backwards to rinse my hair. Floor was stained. Bed was okay. It was clean.

We had to pick this place as there was only one other hotel BW which I chose not to stay as BW are pricey. but didn't expect only 1 motel. they advertised free wifi, new carpets, new clean units. as dumpy it looked we had a good clean new room. No complaints. Coffee and pastries in the morning.

Options in these parts are limited at dusk after a long day of driving. My traveling companion was too cheap to stay in the Best Western; wish I'd insisted. This place was not terrible--beds were ok and clean, the wifi was strong, the tv worked--but the room was cramped, the corners were grimy, the bathroom was crowded and had the...
