The good - quiet, clean, comfortable. A basic motel room. The bad - facility is very run down, staff seem inexperienced in tourism industry. Upgraded room is NOT worth the money. The future- we hear there are new owners. If they invest in the facility (grounds, rooms, front desk, staff, signage) it could be a goldmine!

Was not a good experience- was expecting a Resturant- looks like it’s been closed for years- they wouldn’t let us checkin until after 4 pm. We couldn’t get anyone to help us-the hot springs catered to the locals not to the hotel guests- the soaking tubs were an extra cost & not included- one of our rooms didn’t have hot water- actually it was an awful experience- we won’t stay here again- we tried to tell them about our concerns but they only asked how our stay was besides the concerns- just terrible

My wife and I booked a King-sized bedroom at the Carson Hotel and Spa for the night of 28th May for US$311 inclusive of tax (over Memorial Weekend), expecting exceptional service and luxury as indicated by their website. Their website also maintains that you can “Enjoy any meal of the day in our rustic dining area that looks out onto our beautiful grounds, rich with tall evergreens and rolling hills” .But when we arrived, we found that the hotel did not have any dining facilities and indeed did not even provide breakfast, and had not since Covid. The room was of mediocre standard with coffee facilities more usually found in a one-star motel. The light/heat lamp in the bathroom did not work and the extractor fan made an awful noise when switched on. When I tried to complain, I was told that the Manager would not be returning to the hotel until after the holidays. The staff explained that there had been a change of ownership. Avoid at all costs, it’s a rip-off.

The staff was friendly and the rooms clean (tho a bit dated and well loved). We had a king room with a private hot tub of mineral water on the deck outside our room! Beautiful Carson Golf Course, Carson and Stevenson have good eats and beer! We will be back.

My son and I stayed at Carson hot springs on March 12-13, 2022 on a long journey. Seeking peace and a laid back rest, we had the most horrible night's sleep i've ever had in my life, and i've slept rough before. It was like they put us next to staff that lived there and they were making thuds all night long. Truly. I didn't sleep more than 2 hours and I was in bed for 10. It was ridiculous. The pool itself is open to the public and it's chloronated. The main pool is 4 feet deep and is like a very large hot tub. The " individual" tubs for rent are in a room (men or women only) with 8 other claw foot tubs in it where clothing is optional. We were hoping for the stars and got horribly dissapointed. Save your money.

We stayed two night at the Carson Hot springs Hotel. The hotel is nice ( it could use some art work in the rooms) and the hot springs pool was lovely. We took advance of several of the spa treatments which were wonderful. There are two incredible water falls fairly close which we hiked two that were so amazing.

Before we left for Carson Hot Springs Golf & Spa Resort I called Their office and asked about using the hot springs and whether it was included in the price of the room. I was told the hot springs were free with a paid hotel room. That's a lie. I was also told we could enjoy the hot springs at noon before check in. This was also a lie. When we checked out I asked how much my room cost he said 159.00. This was also a lie.. It was 259.00. I do not like being lied to I'm Very disappointing as we only went there for the hot springs. I will never go back there.

Booked here for wife’s birthday/Valentine’s Day. Arrived at 2pm asked for early check in. Was told very rudely check in is at 4pm and no earlier We left and came back. Got back to office at 330 to find people checking in without reservations. But we’re allowed to check in early. Unbelievable. Got to our room. Was excited to have the private hot tub on our deck over looking a lush forest. Much to our surprise our view included a beaten down trailer house full of smokers (see photos) who were out smoking and coughing non stop. No privacy for us at all. These trailer dwellers could see right into our deck and room. Totally ridiculous. Didn’t see this on the website. $250 bucks for this old beaten up room. With no privacy and a view of a trailer. Amazing resort. Don’t waste your money.

Pluses- inside hot pool, also a hot tub on balcony of room. The staff were nice, the massage was amazing. Negatives - we booked the king size suite but the bed dipped in the middle preventing any decent sleep. Around 3am the people in the next room decided to kick the noise level up to 10. That wasn’t so much the hotels fault but still impacted the stay. Then the next morning we heard an extremely LOUD radio playing and thought it was the room next door only to find out it was maintenance when we opened the door to our room. My recommendation would be visit for a soak but find a more restful place to sleep.

THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCkS!!!? In January of 2021 my fiancé and I made reservations for the Carson Hot Springs resort. It was both our first time going there and we were very excited because we had heard many good things about the Resort. When we got there they did not have our reservations which I had made online. The staff was great and made it right by making sure we got into a room. Once we made it to the room we found a cold hot tub. After calling by the front desk several times we finally got someone to our room about 6:30 to fix it. We went to dinner came back and found the hot tub not working again. We called the front desk and did not get it looked at again until after 8:30. The employee from the front reset the breaker and said it should be fine which it was okay but not hot by any means. I called the front desk and they told us to just give it time to heat back up. After all this we decided to stay another night so we could enjoy the hot tub. Saturday we left to go sightseeing and when we returned to the room the hot tub was once again cold. Called the front desk and they finally called us back about 8:30 to let us know they would put us in another room. Once we got to the new room between 9-10 we found the tv was not working. We called the front desk and never did get it fixed however we at least finally were able to enjoy a hot tub for a few hours. We paid close to $500 for a hot tub room for two nights and got to enjoy it maybe a total of 4 hours. I tried to talk to the front desk at checkout about how unhappy we were and they told us we had to call or send an email . I sent an email and got a call back right away. The lady I spoke with was very kind and apologized but explained due to COVID they were very short staffed. She offered to comp us a room for 1 night and said she would document it in the computer and we were free to use it when we wanted . Today 10/30/2021 I called to see about making reservations for the comp room and was treated very poorly. The so called management said it was not in the computer. She kept telling me they would not comp a room because the Tv was not working. She obviously was not listening to me or just chose to disregard the main and major issues we had with the stay. She said the best they could do was a 15 percent discount. She was extremely rude and disrespectful pretty much was calling me a liar. I am so disappointed because We really liked he place . The staff back in January at least tried to make it right.
