Love this place! They are so friendly and accommodating. The rooms are so clean and nice. Comfy beds as well. The location is perfect. Lots of fun places to eat and fun shopping. My second time staying here. Hope to visit again this fall. Thank you.

I stayed in a sea view room which had both a fireplace and a small balcony overlooking garbage dumpsters from a storage area, storage sheds and finally, over the roofs to the sea. It was pleasant to have the door open all night and hear the sounds of the gulls and awaken to the view of the sea. The room...

We were part of a wedding party that stayed here over the Memorial Day weekend. We stayed in a harbor view king room (311). The room was very large, very clean and nicely maintained. The furnishings were a little dowdy and out of date, but that is purely my opinion. The room was nicely soundproofed, and with the door closed...

The staff are most welcoming and ever so accommodating. We had two rooms and our friends from Australia also agreed that this was the best hotel they had stayed in during their entire trip. The rooms were beautifully appointed, very comfy beds, lovely linens and everything was scrupulously clean. Small balcoy to sit out and watch the harbour (albeit over...

My son and I arrived at this hotel after a full day of cycling. We were welcomed warmly and had our key in minutes. We were told that it was no problem bringing our bikes into the room - which made me wonder if there would be space for us. But the room was very large with two queen beds...

We had seen this Inn on previous trips to the area and decided to try it for a quick get away earlier this week. Our first impression at check-in was very favorable - friendly staff, nicely maintained, clean, conveniently located with ample off-street parking. The room was large with a nice balcony which had a view out to the Sound...

Dear totandem89, Thank you for your candid review. Our location in downtown Fairhaven affords us close proximity to many unique shops, restaurants, beautiful trails, fabulous harbor views and, yes, trains! We are located about a half mile from the Amtrak station and do hear train noise as they pass. Our Parkside rooms face away from the tracks and offer some...

Small village Inns abound in the northeastern United States--many dating from colonial times when people travelled by horse and carriage--but they're rare here in the West, which is why the Village Inn is so special. It IS that kind of Inn, a cozy refuge from the overtly commercial big box chain hotels that line the interstate. Quietly located in downtown...

Adjacent to Fairhaven Village, this comfortable hotel is an ideal place to stay in Bellingham vs. the roadhouses along I-5. The building looks old but is actually new and furnished with antiques and historic touches to give it a romantic vibe. So you have the benefits of new fixtures and HVAC. Friendly and helpful staff. Adjacent to the trail for...

Okay...the only negative I can think to mention is that I hated the pillows. But I loved everything else. Our room was roomy, internet worked great, loved that we had two comfy chairs to sit in front of the gas fireplace, great location to walk to stores and restaurants. Decent breakfast (not stupendous, but better than adequate) and friendly staff....

I have stayed here twice and really like the Fairhaven. It's a small older hotel that has been nicely renovated. The rooms are large, really clean and the beds have nice linens. The railroad is right outside the hotel but the windows must be insulated because the sound has never bothered me. The staff is friendly and helpful. Good internet...
