While the beds are nice, rooms are clean, and location in the heart of historic Fairhaven is a major bonus, there are many things about this hotel that detract from that. In the end, the Fairhaven Village Inn is simply not worth the price---especially what they're charging in the summer months (we paid $530, incl. taxes, for just two nights...

Pleasant staff, large room, comfortable bed. Found on Trip Advisor. Booked through booking dot com. Recommended for single travelers and couples. Off street parking. Perfect location to experience the Fairhaven neighborhood of Bellingham. Will return.

Tried this while visiting our daughter at Western Washington University. Quaint old style hotel. Nice views of the sound. Reasonable prices. Big comfortable rooms. I left my shaving kit and they promptly mailed it to me. Great experience.

The Inn is located in a charming commercial neighborhood a few miles south of downtown Bellingham. There is at least one bike path - starting within 50' of the Inn - heading north that follows the Sound and maybe another path heading south. Clean. Great location. Trains travel on tracks located between the Puget Sound and the Inn.

The hotel location is excellent and the rooms are very nice. However, it is a very poor value. More expensive than better places in larger cities. If you want to stay in Bellingham, this is the best place but I felt the hotel took too much advantage of the lack of competition.

Greetings, PT826, I'm so happy to hear you enjoyed our spacious rooms and our unique location in the heart of Fairhaven. We are currently in our high occupancy Summer season so rates are higher than they are during other times of the year. That being said, even during the Summer months we often have specials or discounts, so be sure...

I selected this hotel for a business stay, over the Bellwether area hotels, for walkability and safety. (Woman alone.). What a great decision! Terrific area for a stroll down to the Marine Park and the ferry, as well as for many restaurant choices for breakfast, lunch, and dinner...local places, not chains. Local bookstore across street and a showing of a...

We stopped here on the way back to Canada at the end of the vacation and splashed out a little as Fairhaven Village Inn is not cheap. In all events, other than the noisy trains which felt like they were passing outside the door, we relaxed and slept well here. I think the rooms facing the sea are probably quieter....

Greetings, MelvinHopkirk, Thank you for staying with us and enjoying Summer in Fairhaven! The railway is indeed several blocks away and as a result, train noise can be heard in Fairhaven. As a point of clarification, the rooms on the Harborside face both Bellingham Bay and the railroad tracks so train noise is more noticeable on that side. Parkside rooms...

We stayed here during Summer Start at WWU for my son. It was very convenient to the school and in my favorite Bellingham neighborhood. Large rooms and a view of the water. Sadly I did get woken up in the middle of the night by a nearby train otherwise a good night stay. My teenager loved the complimentary chocolate chip...

This was a perfect location for our whale watching cruise to San Juan Islands. We were able to walk to the cruise ship. Loved the boutique style hotel with an excellent breakfast. Bellingham is a quaint little town. There were many restaurants and shops in walking distance of the hotel. We thoroughly enjoyed our two night stay! We will definitely...

Lovely large room parkside. Very quiet with no issues with the passing trains (we heard the trains twice in 3 days, but never at night.) Excellent location-walking distance to everything in town. Loved the fresh cookies in the afternoon as well as the great lemon water during the day. Try the lovely little bar, Daphne's next door. Very basic breakfast,...
