Awe inspiring views if you have a western facing room. Even in February we were able to enjoy our balcony for coffee or a glass of wine to enjoy the ever changing marina and bay sights. We loved the Sunset Suite on the 3rd floor. The incredibly beautiful area offers so much to see and do. A wonderful place to...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We unexpectedly had to stay in Bellingham after our car broke down. The staff, Erin at front desk, Erin in the Dining room and Mark in the dining room (the Lighthouse Bar & Grill) made our stay excellent! The seafood risotto was spectacular! From the phone call to make the reservation with Erin, to her ordering food from the dining...

Great place for Happy Hour especially in the summer when you can sit on the outdoor patio. Good selection of appie's and HH beverages. Located right on the water with a great path for a walk before or after your meal.

Dear Vicky 3, Thank you for sharing your review with our perspective guests. The secret is out, summertime in Bellingham is an idyllic setting for beautiful views and happy hour drinks by the bay! At a luxury hotel you should not have to carry your bags yourself with no assistance, you also have to park your car underground. It's easier just to park in front lot weather permitting. The decor is something like Bavarian or a Von Trapp nightmare. Service is nonexistent along with anything to make this place luxury

I am sorry to read this recent review. I am not sure this reviewer actually stayed at the Hotel Bellwether. We are just completing a beautiful room renovation program that has added a higher degree of richness and luxury to our lovely guest rooms. New Northwest art, carpet, paint, lighting throughout, HD TV's and more. I am a confident you...

For being probably the most expensive place to stay in Bellingham it definitely isn't worth the price. Staffed with college students doing it just for a job. Housekeeping seems nonexistent. The whole place needs work and redecorating. The bed was comfortable I'll give you that, but the room overlooked a parking lot and had to put up with delivery trucks...

Mr. Ian M. Thank you for the review. We take your comments very seriously. I wish that I could have met you during your stay. I am usually very visible with my desk just off the main entrance next to the guest registration. The room and hotel renovations we are completing have been very well received. Our designers used high...

We absolutely love this hotel. The suites are comfortable and spacious with jetted tubs, fire places and marina views. The entire staff is professional and courteous. The food and drinks are excellent. There is much to do -- A walkway meanders around the property, leading to shopping, dining and spa services. Watching the boats sail in and out of the...

Barely a hotel with no valet or bell services. The spa and fitness rooms are in different buildings across an open parking lot and a public commons (it's the PNW). The staff is either overly familiar or apathetic. The bar and grill are overpriced and not good (ask to look at the kitchen). The first room wasnt cleaned from the...

We came here to relax and recharge following a busy Christmas and New Years season. We have always enjoyed the Bellingham area. We enjoy trying different restaurants and the shopping. The hotel is located on the waterfront beside the marina so it is a very pleasant place to just walk around and to sit and watch the boats come and go....

Dear 251fraserc, Thank you for sharing your experience! On a clear day, you can see the snow-capped Olympic Mountain range from our property, which is my personal favorite aspect of our South-facing bay view (Aside from the San Juan Islands, of course). We hope to give you another friendly Bellingham welcome on your next visit to Whatcom County! Warmly, Kevin...

Taking baths in hotels, has never appealed to me; however, I confidently dove right into those bubbles, setting my 'water wastage' views aside for this rare luxury! With the fire place on, the TV slightly turned to face the tub, with the French shutters open and glass of wine in hand, I felt wonderfully spoiled! Comfortable bed, warm hospitality, and...

Dear IMJetlagged, Thank you for sharing your experience!
