We have stayed here several years in a row as a base for our climbing trips in the North Cascades. I cant tell you how friendly the owners are. How great the renovated rooms are for the price. How spotlessly clean everything is. This family runs a great establishment. We wont stay anywhere else. Walking distance to REI, Haggen grocery, Dollar store, many, many restaraunts and downtown Bellingham just a short ride or 15 minute walk away. You wont be disappointed staying here!!

My family was treated like royals. The owner helped me out so much. We had family members coming in from different states. They helped coordinate arrivals and departures. They even had rooms for all of us. I recommend this hotel to everyone. It is clean. Everyone is friendly. I always feel like family when I stay here.

I have stayed here several times a year for the past 5 years. The staff is always friendly and helpful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the breakfast is great, with more selection that I've found at more expensive places. The property is well maintained and it's easy to get on and off the freeway or anywhere in Bellingham. And best of all it's reasonably priced!

My work takes me to the Bellingham area 4-6 times per year and I have been staying at the Coachman for about 7 years. They are the best buy and kindest people I have encountered in many cities. The rooms are clean, the rates are very reasonable and if something needs attention, it is handled immediately. Great location for access to freeway, Western Washington University and downtown Bellingham.

Affordable, Clean, and Free Breakfast. Definitely worth the price. Room was comfortable and the shower was nice and hot. TV, Fridge, and hot pot in the room as well. Close to downtown Bellingham as well.
