We are locals and were just looking for a fun weekend away from home. My husband selected this B&B randomly because it was near Colonial Williamsburg and not far from one of our favorite Williamsburg restaurants Peter Chang's. When we got there and the owner mentioned that she also owns three restaurants (which are also some of our favorites) and...

We were on our 15th anniversary away from our 4 children for the 1st time in two years. The owners were kind, but this B and B is definitely not the heart of their service. They own several establishments in the area and their attention was clearly divided. The house and room were very clean and comfortable. The yard was...

What a great experience! The owners were welcoming and helped us get dinner reservations our first evening after a day of traveling. The room was clean and cozy. The location of the B&B makes it a quick 10 minute walk to the main shopping and dining area of town. Hands down the best breakfast I've had at a B&B. I...

We enjoyed three evenings at David and Kathryn's B&B and left feeling more like family than guests. They have only owned the Colonial Capital for less than a year, but they have already established a wonderful haven for visitors. Our room, Potomac, was perfect for us as it was on the back side of the house with no traffic. It...

Dave Everett has created something of a foodie haven in Williamsburg. We arrived, two Australians jaded by our experience to date of the bad coffee and the lack of fresh produce on offer in Virginia. Dave saved us! Real coffee - Illy - and loads of beautiful fresh food was on tap. The breakfast he made for us was outstanding...

This B&B is among the very best we have ever seen. The house is historic, beautifully appointed, clean, and conveniently located. The special surprise was the elaborate gourmet breakfast each morning, lovingly prepared and served by the owner, David, with his assistant, Jennifer. They were very gracious, welcoming, generous and helpful. We look forward to a return visit.

Colonial Capital was the easy choice to fit all our requirements—easy walking distance to train and Colonial Williamsburg, clean and comfortable, en suite bedrooms, and good internet access. Beyond the requirements though we found exceptional hospitality consisting of a plethora of sweet treats, flexible check-out (we were able to leave our bags and return for tea and coffee cake mid-day...

Colonial Capital is very close to Colonial Williamsburg, which is why I selected it. It was a short walk away. It's a beautiful home, very comfortable. The huge surprise was the breakfast. The many dishes kept coming and were so delicious. David, the owner, also owns three restuarants in town, so the food was wonderful. He was also very helpful...

Ideal location, friendly staff and best breakfast of any B&B we've ever visited! Just an amazing array of food and espresso too! Convenient stroll to William & Mary and Colonial Williamsburg. Definitely recommend.

This B&B exceeded our expectations. The rooms were wonderfully appointed, the location was within walking distance to everything and best of all, the owner David, a renowned chef, made an incredible breakfast! Staying here was a highlight of our trip!

We welcome you as our guests at Colonial Capital Bed & Breakfast, a prominent Colonial Revival Inn (c. 1926) In the heart of the Architectural Preservation District. We'll be your home in Williamsburg while you fill your days experiencing our three outdoor living museums: Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestown and Yorktown and while enjoying the thrills and spills found at Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. All are just minutes from your Williamsburg accommodations. Antique furnishings and oriental rugs throughout the house create a rich blend of warmth, style and comfort. Our classic plantation parlor offers a perfect setting for relaxing conversation with friends, new and old.
