Excellent service in a friendly, cozy environment. Everything about this inn is charming and inviting. Breakfast was delicious! This was my first stay, and I will definitely be staying again and recommending this The Cedars to friends. Thanks for making my two-night stay such a memorable one! Jan B.

Well thank you for being such a wonderful guest! It was a joy talking about Japanese culture with you. Thanks for teaching me a lot about the importance of beauty contests and the continued westernization of post-war Japan. Just another conversation at The Cedars :-) Thanks again for your kind words. See you soon!

The charm of this lovely B&B cannot be overstated. We stayed in the Martha Washington Room - smallish, but perfect for a weekend or a few days visit to the 'Burg. A short walk to Merchant's Square and DOG Street, right across from Phi Beta Kappa Hall. Not to mention the delicious breakfasts and delightful friendly, staff.

My wife and I traveled to Williamsburg for Homecoming weekend. We had planned to arrive on Thursday evening, but had to delay the arrival until Friday. When we called in early September to notify the Cedars of our delayed arrival, they were courteous and quick to change the date, with no fee. We arrived after dinner time on Friday, and...

We're happy you enjoyed your stay. We know things in life can come up and very often we want to help guests when plans change, emergencies happen, or even when traffic keeps guests arriving. We're glad we could help you with your traveling arrival hiccup and we look forward to your future stay in the Commonwealth.

They were most welcoming, our room in a separate cottage was delightful, all the amenities we needed after a long day's bike ride, great location in walking distance of a wonderful shopping/restaurant district. The owner is so friendly and fun to talk with and very helpful.

We're so happy you enjoyed your stay! Thank you very much for your kind words. We have started to see a large trickle of bicyclists taking the VA Capital Trail begin to grow this year and we hope to continue that growth. Clean, well-furnished, comfortable beds and walking proximity to Colonial Williamsburg. Owner very knowledgeable regarding the history of the area and what to see and do. The vintage home has charm and colonial character. Would certainly stay here again if I had the opportunity.

The property is quite beautiful and very well located with the Colonial Wmsbg ticket booth and shuttle stop just a short walk away. Also Merchant Square is a short walk with some really great restaurants. And the breakfasts were always...

First time staying at a Bed & Breakfast. We had exceptional service. The owners paid great attention to detail and made sure customer service always came first. Will be back again next year. Great location too! You can walk to Williamsburg and Jamestown was just a quick ride down the road.
