The hotel is newly remodeled. Very nice. Pool was so cute as was the hot tub with changing colored lights under the water. Breakfast was free for me because of my Hilton status and was good. We had a problem with getting our points but I called and Amanda straightened it out very quickly, she was wonderful! Mini fridge in the room with a microwave and coffee, very pleased. I stay in a lot of hiltons and I liked this one. Thank you!
Went down for breakfast with my kids and father in law only to he confronted by the “breakfast guard” and told we had to pay $11 for kid and $12 for adult . wow for pastries but my father in law pay for both kids then we proceed to get our food and we where confronted by the same “breakfast guard” and the front desk lady again . We ask for our money back and went out to a breakfast place. There is nothing included in the hotel you pay for everything. The rooms have been remodeled but same old layout and same old dirty old shower.
This hotel is in a convenient location for those that plan to spend time in historic Williamsburg. Upon check-in we were assigned to room 432. The room was spacious, updated with newer furniture. After unpacking, we discovered that the toilet wouldn’t flush due to needing a new flapper. Reported this to the front desk as we left for dinner-assigned to a new room. No apology or explanation offered. When we returned for the evening we discovered the new room had an antiquated thermostat/AC system. The room remained stuffy and warm throughout the night. There was also a bit of an electrical concern with one of the outlets. At this point, we just wanted to go to bed. Upon checkout, I shared the concerns listed above. While the staff member listened, she said, “If no one reports it, we don’t know anything about it.” She did say she’d pass the information on to the GM. This just isn’t the quality I expect from the Hilton brand.…
This is a wonderful hotel to stay at if you are in the Williamsburg VA area. Front staff was absolutely outstanding when my family and I arrived the staff greeted me as soon as I walked in the the hotel. Every time. We were in town for my son’s college graduation and the convenience of everything also was wonderful for the price you pay! Especially on a nice day, everything is walking distance from the hotel. The breakfast was delicious! All you can eat/buffet style with so many options. The clean up and kitchen staff were so wonderful and friendly and had us laughing every morning it felt very personable and I appreciated that! On to the room, the room was BEAUTIFUL! It was very clean, fresh towels, disposable coffee cups were upstairs for us which were individually wrapped, an abundance of K-cups and creamers were offered. We were located right by the elevator directly next to the ice machine so it was not a far journey which was lovely! It was extremely quiet throughout, you would think no one else was in the hotel that’s how quiet it was. The beds were comfortable and everything smelled so fresh when we walked in. We had a large library of cable channels to watch and the wifi was pretty good. We will absolutely be returning to this hotel again. The experience, customer service was outstanding and I loved how convenient we were to everything, had it not rained all weekend we definitely would have spent more time walking around because everything is walking distance with so much shopping, dining to do plus going to places like Colonial Williamsburg, Great Wolf Lodge, Water Country, U.S.A, Busch Gardens are not long drives to get to.…
We visited in March 2022. We've visited Williamsburg every year (except 2020 and 2021) and stay here. We love the location and have always felt welcomed. Not this time. So much had changed and it was sad. The front desk staff was not welcoming, they didn't greet us as we walked in. The new decor is very cheap feeling-very bright colors. It used to be a neutral simple elegant feel and now the different patterns and colors are everywhere. Feels very chaotic. The hallway and elevator carpets as well as the hallway walls were stained and dirty looking. The rooms are very dark now and they've removed the room safes. There also is not coffee throughout the day which was always a nice touch. Aslo, the back parking lot where most of the parking is, was incredibly dark. But the main reason for our unhappiness was the breakfast we paid extra for. We had to ask 3x to get our meal vouchers from the front desk. THEN, after we sat down with our breakfast, we were approached by a woman who said, "I don't want to be a Breakfast Nazi, but the breakfast is not free." Knowing the routine, I said that we'd purchased the meal with our room reservation, BUT who says this? She then went on to tell us about all the issues they have and I witnessed her going table to table saying the same rude thing. I think it is a ruse, because they were able to get a bunch of unsuspecting guests to pay close to $20 for a meal they thought was complimentary. Why else would they not tell you before you load up your plate or at least have signs posted. VERY POOR service Hilton!…
For a fairly basically described garden inn this place is better than a lot I have stayed in. It’s very pretty from the outside. The rooms are comfy, clean, well appointed and bigger than usual. The ladies on reception are really helpful and nothing is of too much trouble
Down to one elevator for a sold out weekend, the staff did not have the patient for a sold out weekend due to soccer tournament with a lot kids. The breakfast is very good, the best employees were the cooks .
We are staying in a suite on the second floor. Every guest that walks by or uses the elevator sounds like they are standing in our room. It’s not muffled at all. I will never stay here again unless I can get a room on the top floor. Why can Hilton do better than this?
I was too happy with everything from beginning to end!!!Please visit this location. You’ll love the service, breakfast, environment, and rooms. My family enjoyed every moment. We’re going back just to go stay there.
This was not your typical Hilton stay except for the higher rates. One elevator was broken, we did not have enough towels for all guests the first night we stayed and our room was never cleaned despite staying 3 nights- even after asking housekeeping to please give us clean towels. Water pressure gave out each time we showered. The hotel was quiet, but we do not recommend this particular hotel.
