Very highly recommend Bentley Manor. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the location was convenient and accessible, the rooms were comfortable and meticulously clean and the breakfast was memorable. The beautiful home is a perfect representation of what a BnB should look like! I will absolutely go back to Bentley Manor when I go back to Williamsburg.

We stayed for three nights at the Bentley Manor as part of our recent US holiday from the UK. It is ideally situated for visiting Colonial Williamsburg being a pleasant stroll away through the lovely grounds of the University. Fred and Jane are wonderful hosts, friendly and helpful, providing an excellent breakfast and it was lovely to chat to them... More

I have stayed at Bentley Manor many times since Jane & Fred came to Williamsburg and transformed the existing B&B into a warm, welcoming place to stay where you feel like family. Bentley Manor is a place that has something for everyone visiting Williamsburg. It is in a convenient but quiet location that is walking distance to W&M and Colonial... More

The B&B is ideally situated in a quiet, residential street, close to Colonial Williamstown (15 minutes on foot). A permit for on street parking is provided. Jane and Fred are perfect hosts; you feel very welcome. They make delicious breakfasts and are very willing to help and answer all your questions. We stayed in the Thomas Jefferson room with ensuite... More

We stayed here for five nights and had a wonderful time. Fred and Jane are lovely and welcoming people. Breakfast is great, you always have two options to choose from. The B&B is located in a beautiful and quiet street paralel to the busy Richmond road. We had the Thomas Jefferson room, spaceous and clean, just perfect. There are a... More

We stayed here for 3 days in May on a road trip from Washington to Amelia Island. Fred and Jane made us very welcome and the breakfasts were great especially chatting to both of them and those staying there after the meal. The B&B has only 4 rooms and compared to the other B&B's (the majority being Select Registry) that... More

We stayed in Williamsburg for two nights at the Bentley Manor Inn. It's located a couple of blocks NW of the William and Mary Tribe's football field on a street that affords you a lot of peace and quiet. It's about a mile walk to the Colonial Village, which is good for a little bit of exercise and calorie burning.... More

You know you have found "the best of the best" when you wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else! This was our 3rd visit to Williamsburg & to stay at the Bentley Manor Inn, as both times before, was an absolute must for us. When we turned the corner and saw Bentley Manor, we knew we were home. We were greeted by Jane and Fred and immediately felt we knew this very special couple for years. The Capt. John Smith suite was our home for the next few nights. The room and adjoining bathroom was well appointed and cozy.(Capt John behaved himself while we... More

Our stay at the Bentley Manor Inn was fantastic. This was our first stay at a B&B and we didn't know what to expect, but we will never stay in a hotel again in Williamsburg if Fred and Jane have a room available. Our room was cozy, very clean, well appointed and very quiet. The daily breakfast was outstanding, with... More
