I traveled for a short vacation and stayed at this location. The guest check in and out was seamless. The property was beautiful and well maintained. The guest room was nice but the beds were way to hard and the bathroom needed work around the tub. The night staff did not help set up cleaning and towel services which was what I was told to do at check in.
Rooms were ventilated, well sanitized, clean bathrooms, breakfast area is very small, not many items provided in the breakfast, also available only till 9am. You must provide breakfast at least until 9:30 AM. There is no water in the fridge.
Been here many times. Had some issues in the past, but overall liked the fact that the hotel is pet friendly, breakfast served every morning, and close to attractions, restaurants, and stores. Also enjoyed the outdoor pool. Hopefully will be back again.
Overall, very disappointed in this hotel as we have previously stayed at La Quinta Inns that we were happy with. Very unfriendly staff and dirty breakfast area. Our room appeared outdated and the bathroom floor was not at all clean. Three employees all hung around while we were at breakfast and made no attempt to clean tables and the area where the food was located. One of the employees talked on her cellphone while we were getting food.
The check in/check out process was easy and quick. The room was clean as well as all other areas of the hotel that we came into contact with. The pool was great and so was the cardio room. The wifi worked well after it was fixed and there were no more issues with connection after that. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, but the breakfast juices could have been better (they were watered down a lot). The location was awesome…very close to a lot of restaurants, stores, and Busch Gardens/Water Country. Overall it was a great hotel to stay at and its budget-friendly!
I read the reviews and was worried but this was in our budget. I am happy to say overall it was nice. The room was clean. It was quiet and cozy! Very pleased to have stayed here. We will come again!!!
Hotel is not safe. Doors are kept unlock all day and night. Anyone can enter the building. Upon our return one evening found a homeless person passed out with a hypodermic needle. Reported to the front desk and nothing was done for hours. The next morning we were checking out early to hit the road to our next stop. Front desk clerk was sound asleep and upon waking up was rude, grumpy and bothered by us checking out at that time. When walking out of the hotel the same homeless person we found inside was now outside sleeping against a pillar. But the clerk would t have known this either as she was to busy sleeping herself.
I left an item on the bed and the person who stripped my bed though it would be a good idea to take the item. I would not recommend since there clearly is dishonest people on the property. Take your business elsewhere.
I am only giving staffing this rating because the gentleman that was there when I checked in was very nice . However, I had a situation where I was trying to print tickets from the computer in the lobby and the internet was horrible. I asked the ladies at the desk during the evening time and at first they both looked at me from the little office they were in and completely ignored me. When I asked if someone could help me with the computer , one of them comes out and just points at an email on the wall without saying anything. After this I asked her what did I have to do and then she told me. I am sorry I don't recommend this hotel. Then they kept taking the money from my account and putting it back, which went on for about 3-4 days. I have stayed at plenty of hotels and this has been one of my worst experiences. If people do not have customer service skills then they should be properly trained or they shouldn't work there .…
Good value and good breakfast. Generally clean and the staff was helpful, service-oriented and pleasant. But you get what you pay for -- this hotel is looking worn out and sleeping rooms are in need of a refresh.
