Recently stayed at cabin #5 to celebrate anniversary and couldn't be happier with the accommodations and superb hospitality. Every feature and functional detail within the cabin was carefully in place to make our stay special. Enjoyed the hot tub and shower combination in the great outdoors, scrumptious breakfasts, and Inn surroundings. Everything was perfect, Thanks Dave and Heidi!

Fantastic B&B with great couples cottages and cabins. Beautiful setting overlooking Shenandoah valley. Everything on the premises is first rate. Very relaxing and welcoming setting. Breakfast was great. You have the perfect balance of seclusion when you want it, and hiking, biking and exploring to fill your day.

My husband and I recently spent 3 nights at the Iris Inn. When we arrived we were greeted warmly by Heidi, who owns the inn along with her husband Dave. Our room, the Wildflower Room, was spacious and beautiful - tastefully decorated and gave access to the balcony which runs across the front of the inn. The king-sized bed was...

My daughter and I recently spent five nights at Iris Inn...as we left Interstate, I saw a lovely place on the mountain top and said, "oh look at that mansion!!" Well! It was our lovely destination---maybe not like the mansions of London but oh so close and we were treated like royalty. Everyone at the inn is gracious and helpful...

The Iris Inn may now become our new "go to" place! The cabin (if you can call it that) was more luxurious than a lot of nice hotels we have stayed at before. Although we didn't try the hot tub (it was 28 degrees outside), we look forward to trying it out in the future. I loved the privacy the...

We went to the Iris Inn for a late anniversary present and for some R&R. It was fabulous! We are not super big B&B fans, as usually you do not have much privacy from what we've experienced at traditional B&B's. However, Dave and Heidi and their entire staff has made us rethink that notion. They were welcoming and relaxing but...

This was our second stay at the Iris, but first stay in the "cabins". The cabins are more luxurious than many high end hotel suites and a great deal of thought has been put into their design. We originally stayed here, two years ago, after the recommendation of friends and returned to try out the cabins. We were not disappointed....

My best friend from high school and I planned a girls' weekend in the heart of Virginia wine country. We stayed at The Iris Inn and could not have had a better time! Dave and Heidi were fun and friendly -- always a smile on their faces! Would not hesitate to stay here again next time I get the chance!

My wife and I spent two nights in one of the cabins at the Iris Inn. We had a wonderful time. The cabins are very well equipped, have a beautiful view and are perfect for a couple. The daily breakfast was also delicious. The innkeepers are great people and always there to help. No doubt this is not our last...
