My husband and I spent Valentine's Day weekend here earlier this year. He actually found the property-- I had skipped past it because the advertised photo I saw was just the inn, which is pretty standard and nothing to get excited about. The cabins, on the other hand, are incredible. They are luxurious but comfortable and cozy. We used the...

My husband and I just returned from a great birthday get away at the Iris Inn! It was so beautiful and relaxing! Heidi, Dave, and Deana were so welcoming and made us feel like honored guests! We loved the Wine tasting and delicious cheese platter. We had dinner near by in an excellent restaurant that they recommended. The next morning,...

My husband said this was the nicest accomodation we ever had. We stayed in Cabin #2 and it was just lovely with a spectacular view. I was impressed at how well appointed the cabin was. Everything you could possibly want was provided for in the cabin right down to a magnifying mirror to apply make-up. Breakfasts were outstanding and there...

This is the first time we stayed at this inn. It was great. The Garden Room was everything we could possibly expect. We had a nice deck to relax on. My husband and I have stayed at quite a few inns in the Select Registry.and what amazed us at this inn is that we got a menu for breakfast. That...

Lovely, rural setting within driving distance of many, many things to do and see. Clean, spacious rooms. Hosts and staff very kind, very helpful. We drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway, hiked to the top of fantastic Crabtree Falls--talk about bragging rights at next family get together, toured Montpelier and Lewis Ginter Gardens, visited local monastary, and bought apples at...

We were upgraded to a cottage & our friends stayed in a cabin. The accommodations were the best we've ever seen--so relaxing, clean & ultra comfortable. Johnnie treated us to a "happy hour" of wine, cheese & friendly banter. What a luxurious way to unwind after hiking in beautiful Shenandoah NP. Carolyn & Sanford

This Inn is simply wonderful. We rented a luxury cabin which was beautiful and well-appointed, and immaculately clean. Don't let the word cabin throw you- this is really luxurious: for example, granite in the kitchen and bathroom; rainshower shower; heated bathroom floors, fireplace, comfortable bed and furniture in pristine condition. The screened in porch with hot tub overlooking the woods...

Stayed here with several people for a bike vacation. The rooms are spacious and clean. Owners and staff are super friendly and helpful. Complimentary wine tasting in the early evening and homemade breakfast in the morning. Large porch with lots of seating and great views as the property sits up on a hill. Cozy library area to relax and enjoy...

We booked cabin #4 6 months ago, so we could get the best view. We were not disappointed, and it was worth the wait. The cabin has every luxury, detail, and amenity I could wish for, and several that I didn't even know I needed. There is a lovely kitchenette, well thought out, and intuitive, even down to the placement...

We were greeted by the friendly owners on a drizzly Friday afternoon, and soon after we settled in and unpacked our bags, we enjoyed a glass of wine, which is complimentary, and served between 5:30 and 6:30 PM. We actually showed up a few minutes early, and the host graciously brought out the wine and crackers and cheese anyway. Our...
