The cabins are definitely on the expensive side but they are definitely worth the money. If I came back I don't know if I could chose something else. Amazing views from inside (and obviously outside) since they have floor to ceiling windows. Dave and Heidi are also wonderful and welcoming. They were at the evening wine hour and at breakfast,...

Thanks Andrew, for taking the time to share your experience at the Iris Inn & Cabins. Future guests want to know about your time with us. Dave and I each enjoyed massages by Robin this week. And we couldn't agree more; it was the best massage we have ever enjoyed. Robin's company, One Body Studio, magically appears with massage tables,...

Found this place on the internet and wanted a great gift for my husband's birthday. It has a wonderful view. All of the furnishings are top notch. The breakfast is so yummy. The people are sooo nice. We had to switch our dates because our daughter won an award at the last minute. No problem. I would give this place...

Yeah, it's worth every 5 star it gets. We reserved a room fairly last minute for our college visit for UVA. I am an alumnus, so I have stayed all over Charlottesville. I really wanted a change and the ratings seemed too good to be true. There's a main building with several rooms. I am told that every room has...

Thank you so much for staying with us and for the kind and gracious review. We apologize that Woodland didn't work out for you, and understand completely, but are glad you enjoyed the Bear Den. Come back and visit us soon!

My wife and I came for two nights in the Bird Room in the main house. The innkeepers Dave and Heidi were enjoying a cruise in the South Pacific, but the staff here made us feel very at home. The kitchen staff does a phenomenal job turning out breakfast delights, ordered from a menu. A roaring fire really sets the...

Thank you so much for taking a minute to let us know about your stay in the Bird room. Dave and I are back from our trip. Just wanted to let you know how delightful it was to read this review while away and know that everything about your stay was taken care of by our staff in our absence....

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights after our wedding. We stayed in 2 different cabins and so I'll review them both in 2 paragraphs. The first night we arrived around 7:30pm and checked into the Bear Den. This is located to the left of the main Inn. Even though we had missed wine night, the lovely man...

What is one wine glass between friends? Our only regret is that you had to clean it up yourselves! But thank you for your honestly and for that splendid review! Glad you could experience both Bear Den and one of our Cabins on the same visit. Please come back to celebrate an anniversary, birthday or anything that would qualify for...

Spent two nights in Cabin #1 for a birthday weekend for my husband. Great location to be away from the city and be close to Charlottesville, wineries, hiking, etc. Only saw the main room of the Inn where you have breakfast so can't speak to those rooms, but the Cabin was amazing. Very comfortable, great views, hot tub, fireplace, heated...

My wife and I decided to celebrate her birthday by staying at the Iris Inn for a weekend and we could not have been happier with our choice. Prior to our arrival, I spoke with Jerry a few times on the phone and he was able to book us in Cabin #4, which has the best view of the surrounding...

I stayed here for two nights with my girlfriend on a recent weekend getaway. We stayed in the main house. This is not like other B&Bs we've stayed at, which have been more old historic homes. However, that's not a bad thing. These rooms are nice and big and comfortable. The view wasn't quite what I expected it would be,...

There are wonderful things to say about all rooms, massive showers with multiple jets. Some cabins with hot tubs overlooking the Valley. Amazing sunsets that you could watch in your robe (provided) in the best swing ever or spend time by the fireplace in the parlor with other guests at wine hour. Everything a B&B should be and more! Quaint...

We just returned from a wonderful 3 days at the Iris Inn for some much needed down time. This was our first stay here, and it was just fabulous. We normally stay at a different property that offers private cabins, but that property was booked for the weekend so we decided to give the Iris Inn a try. The cabins...
