We stayed at the Gay Street Inn for one night with our sister and brother. Very accommodating and friendly hosts. We had been here before when it was under different management. This was just as good. We would definitely come back!

This is a lovely B&B. We spent one night ( 10/28/13) but could happily have stayed longer to explore the region. We have not stayed in many B&B's so I was not sure what to expect but as we were dining at the Inn at Little Washington and reluctant to pay their room prices instead chose the very near-by Gay...

The Gay Street Inn is a charming B&B run by a friendly and chatty couple with an interesting background. They love what they do and really try to make you feel at home. The house is beautiful and the rooms are perfect. We were very comfortable. They have late night snacks in the parlor and the breakfast was fantastic. It...

This is a beautiful bed and breakfast and--as has been noted in other reviews--a perfect complement to the Inn at Little Washington, one of the finest restaurants (and most pricey B & Bs) in America. The Gay Street Inn is superlative in every respect--comfortable yet elegant and very reasonably priced. New owners, Gary and Wendy Aichele, are skilled hosts.... one...

My husband and I stayed at the Gay Street Inn last week. We ate at the Inn at Little Washington for dinner, but first enjoyed reading on the porch and watching the sunset. Our room was beautiful and comfortable and quiet. A bottle of Port and some chocolates were waiting for us when we returned for dinner; a very thoughtful...

This has been our third stay at the Gay Street Inn and it's no accident. It happens to be in a town that has one of America's great restaurants, The Little Inn at Washington, but it is also a charming town that serves as a base to drive through the charming coutryside, to drive part of the Shenandoah Valley Parkway,...

My wife and I made reservations at the Inn at Little Washington for dinner but found the prices for rooms there to be quite expensive. So we looked elsewhere for a place to stay. The Gay Street Inn fit the bill! The prices were very reasonable and our room was perfect. The owners, Wendy and Gary, were extremely nice and...

Delightful. B&B just outside the Shenendoah National Park, but right in the very small town of Washington. The owners were warm, friendly and accomodating, and supplied us with descriptive suggestions for dinner. Gary has a history background, and filled us in on the history of the region. The rooms were very spacious, and immaculately clean. The Sferra linens were impressive....

A charming find, the innkeepers, Wendy and Gary are very nice. A late arrival sent us over to Sperryville where we found a great market with fabulous cheese, beer and prepared foods. The next morning we had a great run around the Little Inn at Washington's garden for and down Harris Hollow turning onto Sunnyside Orchard Road which dead ends...
