Fairlea Farm is delightful - it's a great place to stay if you are planning to eat at The Inn at Little Washington or go hiking in Shenandoah National Park. Susan and Walt, the owners, are lovely and will give you tips on the area, and Susan's breakfast is simply delicious! Our room was charming, and the view from the...

We arrived by bicycle and received a warm greeting from our hosts Susan and Walt who were so accommodating with storing our bikes. The room was lovely and very comfortable and the breakfast was outstanding! It was a highlight of our vacation in Virginia. Thank you.

My wife and I decided to stay at Fairlea as we were traveling through Virginia. Susan and Walt were delightful and had a lot of knowledge of the area. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and served in a well appointed dinning room. The farm is well maintained with views that go on for ever. Would recommend Fairlea as...

We awoke to birds and the smell of newly mown hay. Outside our window was a well managed Virginian estate farm. The night before we had dined at the Inn at Little Washington and Fairlea was only a few minutes away. The wifi worked, which was important because our cellular service didn't. Before dinner, our hosts, Walt and Susan, gave...

Wonderful hospitality and perfect place to get away. We used it as a place to stay after eating at the Inn at Little Washington, but it had more to offer than just a place to sleep. It was wonderfully peaceful.

Fairlea Farm is only a two hour drive from Washington, DC, but it is a world away. You are surrounded by hills and pastures, donkeys, sheep, chickens, rabbits and cats. The air is clean and fresh. The hospitality from Susan at Fairlea Farm is wonderful. She is welcoming, knowledgable, and helpful. The bed and breakfast is warm and homey. Decorated...

My significant other and I just spent our anniversary night at Fairlea Farm in the Rose Room. We loved the place and highly recommend it. The house and our room were decorated in antiques, but the updated in suite bathroom was modern and well designed. The property has acres of farmland, and we enjoyed petting and feeding Roscoe and Christopher,...

My daughter and I had a wonderful return visit to Fairlea Farm. I think this is my 5th visit. Walt and Susan are the perfect hosts and Susan's breakfasts are fantastic. When I told Susan I was trying to stay away from gluten, she immediately accommodated my request. The B and B is so relaxing and the views are special....
